Job Description

• The successful Electrician will be a highly skilled individual with proven expertise in 3-phase electrical systems, preferably with a background in the mining industry.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical infrastructure across our industrial and mining operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems, particularly 3-phase operations.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Safely handle and maintain high-voltage electrical systems in strict compliance with safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless and safe electrical operations.
• Design and execute preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and enhance equipment reliability.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 3–4 years of proven work experience as an Industrial Electrician, preferably in mining or heavy industrial environments.
• In-depth understanding of 3-phase electrical systems, including circuit diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Good knowledge of relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety frameworks (e.g., NEC, OSHA).
• Physical ability to work in challenging conditions, including heights, confined spaces, and diverse environmental settings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in the mining industry or familiarity with mining-specific electrical systems.
• Professional certification in electrical work (e.g., Journeyman Electrician or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with SCADA systems, PLCs, or other industrial control systems.
