Operation and Maintenance:
- The Turbine Specialist supports all the maintenance activities related to the turbine equipment; he is in contact with the Turbine vendor technical department in order to share any technical information that could be useful for the maintenance of the equipment
- Responsible to plan, schedule, perform and close all the maintenance preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance related to the Turbines
- Responsible to review and assess the necessary spare parts and consumable for each activity
- Responsible to report and update the relevant information to be included into the GMAO system
- He is responsible of the analysis of the most common failure of the turbines and to provide an engineering solution which could avoid it
- Organises and performs on site the maintenance operations level 4 and 5 which are placed under his responsibility,
- Ensures that all maintenance and repairs to plant and equipment are carried out in a safe and efficient manner and in strict compliance with COMPANY operating procedures and any relevant statutory legislation in order to maintain all such equipment in sound and safe operating condition,
- Keeps a critical eye on current preventive maintenance programmes and, if need be, suggests improvements,
- He guarantees a good level of availability of the equipment he is responsible for on production sites.
- Reporting to the client for any technical issues related with the turbines
- Engineering proposal concerning technical solutions to generally improve the performance of the turbine
