    Accountant/Officer Manager

    Job Description:
    Contribute to organization’s success through:
    •Accomplishing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
    •Providing communication systems by identifying needs; evaluating options; maintaining equipment; approving invoices.
    •Purchasing printed materials and forms by obtaining requirements; negotiating price, quality, and delivery; approving invoices.
    •Completing special projects by organizing and coordinating information and requirements; planning, arranging, and meeting schedules; monitoring results.
    •Providing historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems.
    •Improving program and service quality by devising new applications; updating procedures; evaluating system results with users.
    •Achieving financial objectives by anticipating requirements; submitting information for budget preparation; scheduling expenditures; monitoring costs; analyzing variances.
    •Maintaining continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
    •Providing financial, administrative services in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations.
    •Preparation, processing and monitoring of the payroll system, expenditure and income tax returns.
    •Ensuring that organization’s finances are accurate and up to date.
    •Ensuring that organization staff is paid in a timely and appropriate manner and that vendors and suppliers are paid within established time limits.
    •Preparation of the organization’s monthly bank reconciliations statements.
    •Ensuring that the cash book and petty cash are updated on daily basis.
    •Preparation of Budget

    Preferred skills:
    Performance Management, Management Proficiency, Coordination, Financial Planning, Budgeting and Strategy, Process Improvement, Decision Making, Strategic Planning, Quality Management,
    Strong confidence level, Excellent communication skills (Oral and written), Good Knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Accounting knowledge.

    Qualification and Experiences
    -Must have a Bachelor degree
    -A postgraduate degree will be an advantage
    -A professional experience with 3-5 years in positions involving the management of an important team.
