    Strategic Initiative Management Officer (SIMO)

    Job Responsibilities

    • The Strategic Initiative Management(SIM) Officer IM officer supports the M Operations of the SIMO, follows through on Project Monitoring and delivery of Projects to Successful completion.
    • Ensuring Monitoring of Strategic project activities
    • Execute project schedules
    • Manage activities on projects and reporting project progress to the Lead, SIMO.
    • Ensuring the successful completion of the project phase products, on time, within budget and to the specified quality standards.
    • Ensuring that the Interswitch project management methodology is applied to assigned projects
    • Tracking and reporting performance as well as quality, risks, issues and changes on assigned projects.
    • Providing periodic project status reports to stakeholders (e.g. Customers ) as agreed with the Lead, SIMO
    • Identifying appropriate resource requirements and coordinating the project team to ensure successful completion of the project.
    • Developing project plans and uploading on Microsoft Dynamics AX
    • Preparing for and attending customer meetings/conference calls at initiation of the project and at other times as agreed with Internal Stakeholders
    • Support the Leadership of the SIMO in achieving department goals and objectives

    Self-Development & People Management:

    • Up-Skills oneself regarding new products and procedures through attendance of workshops/presentations and reading of internal and external communications
    • Support the  leadership of the SIMO and the Chief Transformation Officer
    • Check and monitor the well-being of all team members
    • Keep communication lines open and ensure regular one-on-one feedbacks
    • Communicate all appropriate information timely
    • Actively mentor less experienced staff
    • Develop and maintain customer satisfaction among Stakeholders.
