    HR Executive


    Position Summary

    • The HR Executive is responsible for assisting the Human Resource Manager in the provision of all human resource services, policies and programs for the company.
    • The entire lifecycle of every employee is to be managed by the HR Team ensuring that employees are motivated on the job while the organization in turn receives high performance on the job.

    Job Description

    • Recruiting, hiring and onboarding employees.
    • Developing and implementing a robust performance management system for the company.
    • Developing yearly training calendars for the entire staff that draws from inputs and recommendations from various departments and units.
    • Providing a robust compensation and benefits program for employees that reflects the job performed and grade.
    • Ensuring that compliance with regulatory concerns as regarding employees are strictly adhered to, to avoid litigation against the company.
    • Developing policies and procedures in line with the Nigeria Labour Law to ensure employee commitment and engagement on the job.
    • Ensuring the safety of all staff by putting measures in place to achieve employee safety.
    • Providing one-to-one or group counseling sessions when needed to employees on job-related, personal and psychological concerns.
    • Maintaining employee information by entering and updating employment data.
    • Overseeing payroll management.
    • Coordinating HR projects like trainings, surveys etc.
    • Handling complaints and grievances professionally.

    Required Competencies/Qualifications

    • Educational Qualification: B.Sc/HND in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations and Personnel Management, Business Administration, or any other Management course.
    • Professional Experience: Three to five (3-5) years working experience in a similar HR Executive role.
    • Must be willing and eager to learn.
    • Communication Skills: Must be sound in both verbal and written communication.
    • Innovativeness and Drive: Must be innovative and have the ability to generate and act on new ideas.
