     A firm in the Travel and tourism sector seeks qualified candidates to fill this role

     Candidate Profile:
    The candidate shall be a young self-driven,goal- oriented,target driven knowledgeable and committed Accountant with a good understanding of the travel industry and experience in BSP reconciliation.

    Job Functions/Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the day to day financial transactions of the company
    • Handle accounts payable and receivable
    • Invoice processing
    • Daily bookkeeping record
    • Ensure that payments for all financed products are fully paid and reported
    • BSP settlement
    • Resolve issues related to account discrepancies
    • Preparation of Budget
    • Preparation of Monthly Bank reconciliation statement
    • Raising Accounting Journal entries to normalize financial statements
    • Ensuring that revenue is timely and accurately accounted for.

    Mandatory Requirements:

    • Must possess sound knowledge and understanding of the Travel Industry.
    • Must have an eye for detail
    • Must possess good relationships with stakeholders in the industry.
    • Highly intelligent and can work under pressure with little or no supervision.
    • Adaptability to a proactive and flexible approach to work and be comfortable with a dynamic environment with constantly changing priorities.
    • Tenacity, Loyalty, Commitment, Passion, Drive.

    Other Requirements and Qualifications:

    Education and Training:

    • Must possess a university degree in Accounting
    • Possession of ICAN or ACCA certification is also an added advantage.

    Work Experience:

    A minimum of 3 years related experience in the Travel and Tourism sector.

    • Report and proposal writing skills.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
