The Mr Price Group is expanding across Nigeria and we’re looking for a talented and passionate Assistant Store Manager to join our winning team and market our great value products.
You will be responsible for:
• Supporting the Store Manager in driving Sales and Turnover
• Creating the ultimate customer shopping experience
• Motivating and energizing your team members
Working in your store you will be involved in everything from leading your team, merchandise management, maintaining visual standards, budget management, managing shrinkage, monitoring stock flow, employee relations and recruitment, managing the housekeeping, related admin and assisting customers with purchases to achieve your sales targets. As a leader, you will be results oriented, target driven and possess strong leadership skills.
It can be a challenging job, but one with loads of potential for growth! Your can-do and entrepreneurial approach will assist you to sell our quality, affordable and unique products.
Minimum Requirements
• SSCE/West African School Examination Certificate
• Previous experience management experience in a retail store is essential (ideally in a Supervisor or Assistant Manager role)
• Merchandising and selling skills essential
