We need a Web Designer to join our team with a proven ability in user-centred design. This job involves designing and building. So don’t apply if you are a fantastic designer that doesn’t know their XHTML from their CSS! 

As a real self-starter and a keen all-rounder you will be expected to work either as part of a larger team on major website projects, or on smaller projects where you may be given the opportunity to take creative/front-end ownership working alongside our backend developers. 

We are not expecting you to be at the top of your game just yet – fingers crossed you’ll get there in time - but you’ll have enough experience with it and be keen enough to be passionate about getting there.

Responsibilities
You’ll be integral in both design and front-end build of our digital projects. On a daily basis;

Designing inspirational user-centred websites, emails and online apps
Front-end web development; using JavaScript, AJAX, XHTML, CSS and related technologies such as PHP/CodeIgniter (optional)
Creative brainstorms for ideas for new client projects or pitches
Ensuring cross-browser compatibility

What you need to know

To learn from the team how to take on a project from a conception through wire-framing and technical specifications then onto design and build and beyond, on-time and on budget!
