Music Producer/Sound Engineer at J-World Academy

Details:

We are in need of a music producer/Sound engineer to assemble, operate and maintain the technical equipment used to record, amplify, enhance, mix and reproduce sound for our client and artist.

He/she will be required to identify the sound requirements for a given task or situation and perform the appropriate actions to produce this sound.

The Sound producer/engineer will use a variety of equipment such as digital audio workstations, attenuators, equalizers, and multi-meters during the sound recording process. During post-production and mixing, sound producers blend recorded clips of vocals and instruments to achieve a certain sound.

Additionally, the sound producer will teach our music students how to make beat, record and produce songs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Recording sound onto digital audio tape or hard disk recorders;
• monitoring audio signals to detect sound-quality deviations or malfunctions;
• anticipating and correcting any problems;
• Maintaining and repairing sound equipment.

• integrating (synchronisation) of pre-recorded audio (dialogue, sound effects and music) with visual content;
• re-recording and synchronising audio (post-synching);
• mixing and balancing speech, effects and music;
• Creating and altering sound effects for use in films, television, etc.

WORKING HOURS

3 days in a week. In- house

SKILLS

• excellent aural skills;
• scrupulous attention to detail;
• general technical ability, dexterity and agility;
• the ability to work as part of a team;
• problem-solving ability;
• other creative skills like designs, etc
