About the position
In this position, you will work closely with the leadership team and advisors. You will oversee the finance and administrative functions of the organization as well as coordinate and carry out specialized grants management functions. This position, reporting to the Executive Director, is accountable for the HLA’s financial and accounting policies, systems and processes, tax and regulatory requirements, payroll systems and processes and controls, ongoing financial modeling and annual business plan.
This position requires a self-starter and a problem solver, a resourceful person with a can-do attitude who works with humility and is ready and willing to collaborate. We are looking for someone who is intrinsically motivated to work for societal impact and who also has a passion for teaching, coaching and/or facilitating. We are looking for someone who is willing to go the extra mile to grow and build the organization and position it closer to achieving its vision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

A.Administration
Set up systems, procedures and processes for the administrative functions of the organization;
Providing necessary administrative support to programme staff, operations/logistics staff when required.
