Summary

• The Advocate Corp Volunteer recruits, trains and assists fellow Christians to become successful activists for Israel through the creation of new or development of existing pro-Israel programs, public events, conferences, materials and websites.
• Advocate Corp Volunteer helps represent Istandwithisrael to the greater community, through outreach programs and fundraising activities that build Istandwithisrael local profile.

Job Descriptions

• Plan and execute public campaigns and events in Churches to promote Israel foreign policy priorities under the supervision of the Director (Political, Economic, Cultural and Public Affairs);
• Manage relations with churches representatives and support preparation of traditional media content (e.g. press releases, interviews);
• Participate in the planning and execution of high-level visits, Israeli experts, and others;
• Conduct research to support the promotion of Jewish culture and traditions among christians.
• Learn ISWI presentations and offer yourself as a speaker to fellowship, churches and other gatherings

Job Responsibilities
Community Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with Local ISWI State chapter:
  • Help with events
  • Keep Community Director informed of your activities
• Establish Relationships with local community leaders, if asked to do so
• Be a community builder so you can bring people together for events
• Meet with local donors to support your programming
• Network with local synagogues and churches and offer yourself as a speaker
• Administrative duties for local chapter including phones, data entry, etc.

Press Responsibilities:

• Establish relationships with local journalists
• Try to get your programs covered
• Be available for interviews

Community Work:

• Outreach to Fellowships and professional in Communities as well as other Christian professionals
• Maintain an active presence in the Local Area and Community
• Mentor others on advocacy and program skills
• Work with others to create new programs and strengthen existing ones
• Recruit others for Pro Israel Fellowship, Conferences, and internships
• Help plan ISWI conferences, including small regional summits
• Plan speaker tours and major events
• Maintain open communication with rest of ISWI staff and participate in conference calls
• Hold regular conference calls with ISWI Secretariat, and be in regular communication with others
• Learn ISWI presentations and offer yourself as a speaker to fellowship, churches and other gatherings

Essential Qualifications

• Education: Degree from a recognized university relevant to Translation, Journalism, Hhumanities, Social Sciences or Commerce or very mature in mind candidates will be considered.
