    Continental Chef

    Location: Lekki, Lagos

    Job Summary
    The general responsibility of the Juice Chef is to work with the Team lead in overseeing and directing a team on handling all kitchen related matters including all menu production – cold pressed juices, nut milks, coffee, smoothies, salads, sandwiches, light healthy meals, and food prep.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Organize all kitchen related activities
    • leading and directing a team on all menu production according to the company’s production procedures in a timely fashion
    • Proper handling, preparation and storage of all produce items
    • Proper arranging of kitchen space, storage and accounting of all non-produce items
    • Proper usage, training and maintenance of all equipment
    • Ensure that orders are prepared and delivered in a timely fashion within the expected turnaround time
    • Create healthy menu additions consistent with the company brand and policy.
    • Oversee proper inventory records of produce and non-produce items
    • Any other kitchen related task as assigned by the CEO.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Must have a degree in relevant field or relevant experience
    • Must have an ultra-high level of attention to sanitary procedures and cleanliness
    • Must be a dedicated kitchen worker who is a team player, efficient, production oriented and takes pride in being part of a team that is producing the best cold pressed juice and healthy meals.
    • Strong interest in healthy foods.
    • Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to foster team spirit and capable of leading a crew to meet production demands while maintaining good team morale and coordination
    • Ability to adhere to quality control measures in line with applicable health laws
    • Creative ability to consistently produce great tasting and healthy products our customers love and expect.
    • Quick learner and agile multi-tasker, demonstrate proactive initiative and willing to learn
    • Ability to remain calm and confident under pressure
    • Discretion and confidentiality
    • Awareness of the health benefits of raw organic cold-pressed juice & foods
    • Awareness/interest in health and creative trends in healthy meals
    • Attention to detail is a must
    • Must reside in the Lekki-Ajah corridor.
