Senior Level, NPO Engineer at Telinno Consulting Limited (TCL)

Job Description

• Monitor network performance and configuration to ensure conformance with KPIs.
• Support junior level NPO Engineer with high level network problem solving, and technical solutions
• Support with technology research and network value added coverage and capacity solutions
• Inter department collaboration / interface particularly with Operations.
• Understanding the telecommunication industry (local and international) trends and developments in order to assess the impact on the client business
• Regularly monitor, track and report network data inconsistencies/discrepancies
• Ensure Periodic reporting of competitive network performance benchmarking from drive test
• Evaluate the functionality and relevance of new RAN and OSS software releases.
• Technical Investigations into radio network design and performance related issues
• Maintain a detail Knowledge of the network at all times.
• Maintain an awareness of the latest technological and industry developments that may affect the cellular business

Requirements

• First Degree in Electrical/Electronic, Telecommunication Engineering or related field
• M.Sc. in a related subject will be an advantage.
• 6 – 10 years’ experience in radio planning and optimization with a mobile telecomm operator or consulting
• Experience with Nokia, Huawei equipment will be desirable
