Reporting to the Sales Director, the position will be working closely with the sales teams as well as regional technical teams in Nigeria. You will be expected to identify and develop business opportunities, coordinate business activities, and drive regional strategies across the region to deliver sustainable growth.
As the Business Development Business Head, you will also provide commercial management for customers’ technical enquiries, identification of future needs and new product developments. The role shall provide strategic direction for product/innovation transfer as well as building capabilities and resources within the region to drive growth and efficiencies.
You would ideally have a Chemistry educational background however we are more focused on the candidate having 7- 10 years of experience in sales, business development or technical marketing regionally in a lubricants/additives-oriented environment with 3 of those years heading the business unit.
You will also have experience of managing within a regional territory, development of sales plans and partnerships to support business growth and the implementation of business strategies, as well as identification of new potential business opportunities.
Please not that this role requires extensive travel, up to 75%
