Drive the acquisition and expansion of strategic enterprise clients across Sub-Saharan Africa by positioning the company’s Treasury & Trade Operating System as a critical financial infrastructure for treasury operations, payments, liquidity management, FX, and trade activities.
The role focuses on securing key enterprise clients with significant transaction volumes, establishing them as core nodes within the company’s financial network.
Success is defined by embedding the company as the preferred treasury infrastructure partner for large corporates in the Manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Acquisition: Identify, engage, and close high-value enterprise clients within the manufacturing sector.
- Executive Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with CFOs, Group Treasurers, Heads of Finance, and Treasury leaders.
- Strategic Solution Selling: Lead consultative sales discussions, positioning solutions such as treasury and liquidity management, automated receivables, multi-bank connectivity, supply chain finance, trade finance, and FX/cross-border payment infrastructure.
- Deal Structuring & Negotiation: Manage complex enterprise deals, including multi-year agreements, platform licensing, and strategic onboarding initiatives.
Core Competencies (Must-Have)
- Enterprise Sales Expertise: Strong ability to manage consultative sales across complex treasury operations, multi-bank environments, and regulatory frameworks.
- Financial Acumen: In-depth understanding of treasury and liquidity management, cross-border payments, FX markets, and trade finance structures.
- Executive Engagement: Proven track record of negotiating with C-suite leaders and influencing major business decisions.
- Network Building: Ability to establish and leverage relationships with senior finance professionals across key industries.
- Pipeline Management: Structured approach to forecasting, opportunity tracking, and revenue planning.
- Value Communication: Skilled in presenting clear, compelling commercial value propositions to enterprise clients.
Requirements
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE (MANDATORY – DO NOT APPLY IF NOT MET)
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in enterprise sales within the Manufacturing sector.
- Proven experience working with:
- Large manufacturing companies
- FMCG / industrial production firms
- Strong understanding of:
- Supply chain finance
- Vendor ecosystems
- Cross-border procurement and payments
- Existing relationships with CFOs and finance teams in manufacturing companies.
- Proven track record of closing enterprise deals ($250K+ ACV) within the manufacturing space.
Candidates without Manufacturing industry experience will not be considered.
