    Internal Auditor


    Principal Duties and Responsibilities

    • Plan and carry out financial, regulatory, compliance or operational reviews/audits. 
    • Coordinates work with Risk, Legal & Compliance and other control-related activities and with others within Internal Audit.  Ensure daily compliance on the internal and financial policies of the facility.
    • Do a daily call over on all expenses across all synapse centres allocated to you and ensure that  all postings are correctly done
    • Takes routine stocks check and verify that records in the bin cards show true representation of stock on ground
    • Ensure that costs are not over stated on all expenses.
    • Ensure compliance on all regulatory policies.
    • Ensure that internal control system is in place so as to control loss, theft and    risk in the facility.
    • Identifies any internal control gap and measures for its improvement.
    • Report to management all risk issues in accordance with auditing standards.
    • Flag up any internal control issue.
    • Performs audit procedures to verify that controls are operating through testing and interviewing techniques. 
    • Analyses and concludes on effectiveness and efficiency of control environment.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • First Degree must be in Accounting
    • Certified member of ICAN/ACCA will be an added advantage
    • 3- 4 years’ work experience as an internal auditor
    • Excellent knowledge of healthcare financial business operations and risk-based auditing attained through 2 to 3 years of progressive work experience with a focus on financial risk and regulatory requirements.
    • Excellent understanding of the standards of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and ability to fully comply with IIA standards
    • Strong skills in negotiating, relationship building, problem solving, and timely problem escalation.

    Treasury Officer


    Principal Duties and Responsibilities

    • Perform Clients deposit and withdrawal transactions (cash and cheque) within approved limits and provide responses to customers’ enquiries or complaints in a polite and courteous manner within the cash area.
    • Manage daily balancing and reconciling of office accounts and handle daily bank deposits
    • Document bank transactions by processing checks and online deposits in a proactive manner
    • Enforce credit policies to ensure that defaulters and patients with extended credits pay on time
    • Enter all payments received from clients are entered into designated databases
    • Post payments to appropriate accounts and maintain logs of daily receipts
    • Maintain petty cash logs, receipts, and balances
    • Handle cash clearing and credit balancing activities along with determining and investigating unidentified accounts
    • Ensure that Cash is arranged and stored in an orderly manner (according to denominations) in the safe box and ensure that the cash cabin is neat, tidy, and free from all prohibited items.

    • Keep periodic balance sheets of amounts and numbers of transactions.
    • Compile and maintain non-monetary reports and records.
    • Calculate total payments received during a time period, and reconcile this with total sales.
    • Ensure proper and complete record keeping and filing of all transaction reports and receipts
    • Support and participate in the deposit mobilization effort of the Centre.
    • Actively support the client advisor team in raising deposits by cross-selling, giving general information about products and services and referring clients to the client advisors.

    Clinical Psychologist


    Core Job Functions

    • Counsel individuals and groups regarding problems such as stress, substance abuse, and family situations, in order to modify behaviour and/or to improve personal, social, and vocational adjustment.
    • Offering therapy and treatments for difficulties relating to mental health problems such as anxiety, depression, and addiction, social and interpersonal problems.
    • Identify psychological, emotional, or behavioural issues, and diagnose disorders, using information obtained from interviews, tests, records, and reference materials.
    • Working as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside doctors, nurses, social workers, education professionals, health visitors, psychiatrists and occupational therapists;
    • Develop and implement individual treatment plans, specifying type, frequency, Intensity, and duration of therapy.
    • Prepare and type a biopsychosocial assessment, psychological case formulation and develop an individualized treatment plan for every patient in therapy.
    • Facilitate Diverse Group therapeutic sessions.
    • Select, administer, score, and interpret psychological tests in order to obtain information on individuals' intelligence, achievements, interests, and personalities.
    • Utilize a variety of treatment methods such as cognitive behavioural therapy, psychotherapy, behaviour modification, stress reduction therapy, psychodrama and play therapy.

    Psychiatric Nurse


    Job Description

    • Observe outpatients and inpatients daily to identify, interpret, and document physical and emotional status and/or patterns, such as assaultive or suicidal behaviour, and response to treatment or medication.
    • Administer psychotropic medications to patients, monitor use, and document reactions.
    • Instruct patients on the purpose, dosage, and side effects of medication, and explain the legal process related to the patient's refusal to take prescribed medication.
    • Monitor the number of outpatients and inpatients present in the facility at certain intervals.

    Receptionist

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities

    • Serves as the first contact to parents and their wards, and maintains a cordial relationship with them.
    • Clearly address their inquiries
    • Opens files for new clients after registration fees has been paid
    • Take enquiry from patients or their relatives, upon admission inform patient’s family member about our prices and ensure they fill the “Inpatient Admission form”.
    • Print out copies of price list for both In and Out Patient prospects. Take UDT enquiries and contact the Ward manager/Nurse on duty for the exercise.
    • Interfacing with visitors/clients and clearly address their inquiries. Focus on providing exceptional services resulting in customer satisfaction. 
    • Patient Files: Opening of patient files for newly registered patients, allotting Hospital and Medical record Number, and retrieving of patient files when client come for follow up.
    • Provide secretarial support: filing, answering telephone calls, compiling and typing of official documents as required, photo copying and distributing materials, correspondence.
    • Receive, dispatch and disseminate official correspondence
    • Assist in the procurement of office items when need arises
