Health Assistant at Homa Clinic & Maternity Home

Proximity Requirement: Must reside within or near Ota, Ogun State (e.g., Iyana Iyesi, Iganmode, Idi-Iroko, Sango axis). Locations in proximity requirement are preferred. 

SALARY: N53,000 - N58,000. Salary increases yearly automatically by percentages aligned with our salary structure. No Tax on Salary

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct basic clinical care, monitor vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse), and administer prescribed medications and treatments under the supervision of qualified practitioners.
• Assist doctors and nurses during clinical procedures, examinations, and minor surgeries.
• Assist in delivering compassionate maternal and child care services (prenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal monitoring).
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and clinical documentation.
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols, hygiene, bed-making, and general patient safety standards.
• Respond promptly to clinical emergencies and provide basic triage support.

Job Requirements:

• Qualification: Certificate or National Diploma (ND) in Community Health / Health Technology (e.g., CHEW / JCHEW or Health Assistant Certificate).
• Certifications: Basic First Aid and CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a strong advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year hands-on clinical experience in a hospital or clinic. Theatre experience is an advantage 
• Skill: Proven hands-on experience in taking vital signs, patient hygiene, and supporting medical staff during minor procedures.
• Proximity: Candidates residing within or near Ota, Ogun State are preferred.
