Chemistry Teacher at Premiere Academy

• Ability to plan prepare and deliver engaging chemistry lessons in line with the school curriculum 
• Prepare lesson plans instructional materials assignments tests and examination questions
• To teach chemistry concepts clearly using practical examples experiments and appropriate teaching resources.
• To conduct and supervise practical chemistry experiments in laboratory while ensuring proper safety procedures are followed.
• To assess students understanding and monitor their academic progress.
• To provide constructive feedback and appropriate support to students who require additional assistance.
• To prepare students effectively for both internal and external examinations which include WAEC NECO GCE and other relevant international examinations.
• To maintain accurate records of students attendance performance and academic development.
• Use technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning.
• To participate in departmental meetings staff development programmes and other school activities. 
• Maintain effective classroom management and promote a positive learning environment. 
• Communicate appropriately with the management regarding students academic performance when necessary. 
• To perform other duties assigned by the head of department or school management.

REQUIREMENTS 

• Bachelor's degree( Bsc)/B.Ed)in chemistry bio chemistry education( Chemistry) or in related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years teaching experience in a reputable school.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian secondary school chemistry curriculum.
• Experience preparing students for WAEC NECO and or IGCSE is an advantage.
• A good practical laboratory skills and the ability to conduct chemistry experiment safely. 
• Excellent communication classroom management and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use technology and digital learning tools effectively.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute positively to the school community. 
• Professional teaching qualification such as TRCN PGDE or equivalent is an added advantage.
