    Technical Supervisor - Auto Air-conditioning System

    Job Objectives

    • To contribute to overall customer satisfaction and business profitability through proper and prompt execution of all repair orders

    Reporting Relationships

    • Reports To: Sectional Team Lead
    • Supervises: Technical Trainee (as applicable)

    Responsibilities
    Operational Responsibilities:

    • Carry out routine maintenance on vehicle AC as advised by the sectional team lead or workshop manager
    • Carry out major AC repairs on vehicle as required
    • Ensure all customers’ requests on the repair order are completed to a high-quality standard
    • Ensure repair orders on vehicle ACs are completed within the time allotted
    • Identify and inform the Sectional Team Lead of any additional repairs on the AC components of customers’ vehicle.
    • Maintain accurate clocking practices by clocking on and off every repair order.

    HSE Responsibilities:

    • Use all personal protective equipment (PPE) at all time in the workshop to protect against health and safety risks.
    • Use all protective equipment to maintain the cleanliness of the customers’ vehicle (Seat covers, floors mats, fender covers).
    • Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times
    • Keep work area clean and tidy at all times.

    Key Performance Indicators

    • <2% return job on all AC jobs
    • 100% productivity (Turn-around time per vehicle)
    • 85% efficiency
    • 100% HSE compliance

    Competency Requirements
    Core Skills:

    • Technical skills: Technicians must be familiar with vehicle Engine and AC components and know how they interact with each other. They often must take apart major parts for repairs and be able to put them back together properly.
    • Troubleshooting skills: ability to use diagnostic equipment on engine systems and components in order to identify and fix problems in increasingly complicated mechanical and electronic systems.
    • Dexterity: steady hand and good hand–eye coordination.

    Specification/ qualification
    Qualification:

    • Minimum Trade test 3 certification, or its equivalent

    Minimum Experience:

    • 3-5 years of automotive repair experience especially vehicle Air Conditioning system
    • Knowledge of different AC tools and equipment required to conduct all repairs.
    • Ability to operate diagnostic tools required
    • Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.
    • Toyota or related certification preferred but not required
    • Valid driver’s license.

    Technical Supervisor - Quality Control and Assurance

    Job Objectives

    • To contribute to overall customer satisfaction and business profitability through the supervision of technicians to ensure proper and prompt execution of all repair orders i.e. to drive timelines and quality.

    Reporting Relationships    

    • Reports To: Head of Aftersales
    • Supervises: Technicians

    Job Responsibilities
    Operational Responsibilities:

    • Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical components to diagnose issues accurately.
    • Verify vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.
    • Ensure all customers’ requests on the repair order are completed to a high quality standard
    • Test drive vehicles after repairs are complete to ensure mechanical/electrical and body repair soundness and to determine whether any other problems exist
    • Supervise the technicians to ensure they deliver on the responsibilities of their roles and unit
    • Motivate and keep team engaged at all times
    • To conduct pre-estimate checks and post repair quality inspection.

    HSE Responsibilities:

    • Ensure all team members uses all personal protective equipment (PPE) at all time in the workshop to protect against health and safety risks.
    • Ensure the team uses all protective equipment to maintain the cleanliness of the customers’ vehicle (Seat covers, floors mats, fender covers).
