    Shift Engineer - Mechanical

    Job Responsibilities

    • Supervise the Mechanical and utility team
    • Handle utility and plant operations smoothly ensuring zero downtime
    • Prepare and maintain spare parts inventory
    • Prepare and execute preventive and predictive maintenance of plant and deliver on KPIs
    • Prepare trends and records of Operation and Maintenance data
    • Prepare and compare daily utility reports for operational deviations and needful corrective actions
    • Prepare ISO documentations and records
    • Ensure all HSE standards are met and that all equipment complies with Company and legal standards

    Job Requirements
    Education/Qualification:

    • B.Eng or B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant fields.

    Experience:

    • 8 years experience in a similar role in Process Industries - Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Plastics, Cement etc.

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Practical knowledge of breakdown/preventive maintenance practices for smooth shift operations.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft skills for preparing daily reports.
    • Ability to understand electrical and mechanical drawings/manuals.
    • Ability to read and interpret all the various instruments in the plant and make equipment adjustments as required.
    • Good inter-departmental communications for streamlined shift operations.

    Shift Engineer - Power

    Job Responsibilities

    • Equipment check, control, maintenance, fault finding and trouble shooting.
    • Handle shift operations ensuring minimum breakdowns.
    • Monitor plant and equipment to ensure optimal operation and reduction of planned and unplanned downtime.
    • Provide regular process control checks, identify shortcomings and forthcoming obsolescence.
    • Initiate and support performance improvement action.
    • Review and recommend updates to Engineering policies and procedures.
    • Ensure all Health and Safety standards are met and that all equipment complies with Company and legal standards.

    Job Requirements
    Education/Qualification:

    • The candidate should possess B. Eng or B. Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, Automobile Engineering or other relevant fields.

    Experience:

    • The candidate should have 6 - 8 years experience in a similar role in Process Industries - Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Plastics, Cement etc.

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Excellent understanding of power plant operations.
    • Hands - on workmanship for B check and C check maintenance.
    • Practical experience handling engine crank, oil circulation system, engine alignment, tapper system, turbo system, bearing and filter replacements, etc.
    • Knowledge of gas engines, crank, lube oil circulation system, cooling water pumping system.
    • Understanding of Engine mechanical alarm trip, Annuation panel DIO, AIO.
    • Knowledge of breakdown/preventive maintenance practices for smooth shift operations.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft skills for preparing daily reports.
    • Ability to understand electrical and mechanical drawings/manuals.
    • Good inter-departmental communications for streamlined shift operations.

    Shift Engineer - Instrumentation

    Job Responsibilities

    • Supervise the electrical and instrument team
    • Equipment check, control, maintenance, trouble shooting and replacement of defective parts
    • Plan and document critical and non-critical spares parts inventory
    • Handle shift operations ensuring minimum breakdowns
    • Monitor plant and equipment to ensure optimal operation and reduction of downtime
    • Prepare trends and records of operation and maintenance data
    • Prepare and compare daily utility reports for operational deviations and needful corrective action
    • Ensure all Health and Safety standards are met and that all equipment complies with Company and legal standards

    Job Requirements
    Education:

    • B. Eng or B. Tech in Electronic and Instrumentation Engineering or other relevant fields

    Experience:

    • 6 - 8 years experience in a similar role in Process Industries - Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Plastics, Cement etc.

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Excellent understanding of process plant instrument equipment
    • Expertise in Pet Process plant instrument calibration
    • Practical knowledge of DCS function, PLC, soft starter, variable frequency drive ABB, etc
    • Knowledge of breakdown/preventive maintenance practices for smooth shift operations
    • Proficiency in Microsoft skills for preparing daily reports
    • Ability to understand electrical and mechanical drawings/manuals
    • Good inter-departmental communications skills for streamlined shift operations

    Shift Engineer - Electrical

    Job Responsibilities

    • Supervise technical electrical team.
    • Attend to electrical equipment breakdown, corrective, predictive and preventive maintenance and minimize downtime.
    • Trouble shoot inter-tripping and inter - locking soft starter, air compressor, Nitrogen plant, LT switch gear, UPS, WTP, etc.
    • Trouble shoot, dismantle and reassemble motor bearing and replace defective parts.
    • Plan critical and non-critical electrical equipment and spares parts availability.
    • ISO, SOP documentation.
    • Check motor resistance, voltage and current, earth pit resistance, insulation level.
    • Effectively handle shift operations to ensure zero downtime.

    Job Requirements
    Education/Qualification:

    • The candidate should possess B.Eng or B.Tech in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or other relevant fields

    Experience:

    • The candidate should have 6 - 8 years experience in a similar role in Process Industries - Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Plastics, Cement etc.

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Good understanding of Process plant high voltage electrical equipment up to 33kw, electrical motor, heater, blower, rotary valve, conveyor system, UPS, battery, soft starter, switchboard, lighting, battery operated forklift, crane etc.
    • Excellent mastery of utility electrical equipment including air compressors, Nitrogen plant, WTP, HTM, LV switch gear, Gas Genset 1500kw, HT up to 33kv substation, electrical motor 250kv, heater 300kw, LDB etc.
    • Good understanding of SLD from gas generator power plant PCC to PDB and MCC power reliability.
    • Knowledge of safety work practices, work permit and electrical isolation requirements.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft skills for preparing daily reports.
    • Good inter-departmental communications for streamlined shift operations.
