Job Description:    

• The person will be completely responsible for smooth operation and maintenance of all packing machines on the shop-floor.
• Will be involved in handling of production issues during Night Shifts as well.
• Should be able to handle minor electrical problems in packing machines and be aware of minor maintenance of other machines (for general problems in shift operations).
• Should be capable of handling different types of change-overs to pack different varieties of biscuits.
• Should also be able to maintain packing machines inventories.

Key Skills:    

Maintenance & Trouble shooting of Flow wrap machines, FFS machine, Multi packaging machines, Creaming machines etc.

Location:     Lagos - Nigeria
Required Experience:     3-10 years

• Experience in maintaining Production equipment including Bakery, Butchery & Kitchen equipments.
• Experience in maintaining refrigeration – Freezers and Chillers & air conditioning plants & Cold rooms.
• Should have competent knowledge of Electrical installations & panels, Generators & other allied equipments

Experience in handling the maintenance department in a Retail Store Chains/ Food Processing plant/Restaurants/Hotels/Food Courts/etc.

Job Description:    
•Liaising with suppliers and contractors and all relevant internal departments requiring goods and services, forecasting levels of demand for services and products to meet the business needs and keeping a constant check on stock levels
•Conducting research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality.
•Identifying potential suppliers, visiting existing suppliers, and building and maintaining good relationships with them.
•Forecasting price trends and their impact on future activities.
•Developing your organisation’s purchasing strategy and communicating this to all relevant managers and teams.
•Preparing tender documents, inviting responses from interested parties/suppliers.
•Ensuring all tender invitations and assessments are conducted in an ethical and fair way
•Evaluating tenders and more detailed business bids/pitches, sharing your recommendations based on commercial and technical factors
•Negotiating prices and agreeing contracts, monitoring their progress.
•Processing payments and invoices, ensuring contracted work has met expectations and been delivered on time
•Maintaining an understanding of the external environment. Representing the organisation at industry bodies and attending trade conferences
•Training and supervising other more junior staff members
•Interfacing with Group Procurement, contributing insights on soft commodities and aligning on cover strategy.
