    Guest Service Agent / Receptionist

    Responsibilities
    The Guest Service Agent/Receptionist's responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

    • Greet and register incoming guests.
    • Process guest folios and collect payment.
    • Administer and manage cash handling responsibilities.
    • Handle guest requests and concerns promptly and with courtesy.
    • Assist guests with any inquiries regarding local entertainment, restaurants or transportation.
    • Maintain efficient and effective flow of information with guests and all internal departments.
    • Handle additional duties as needed by guests or management.

    Qualifications and Requirements
    The candidate must have:

    • The ability to interface with all types of guests

    Food & Beverage Manager/Supervisor

    Responsibilities

    • Achievement of budgeted food sales, beverage sales and labour costs.
    • Achieve maximum profitability and over-all success by controlling costs and quality of service.
    • Participation and input towards F & B Marketing activities.
    • Control of Banquet china, cutlery, glassware, linen and equipment.
    • Completion of function delivery sheets in an accurate and timely fashion.
    • Help in preparation of forecast and actual budget function sheets.
    • To supervise and co-ordinate daily operation of meeting/banquet set-ups and service.
    • Completion of Banquet Bar Requisitions.
    • Maintaining the Hotel Bar control policies and completion of necessary forms.
    • Following of proper purchasing and requisitioning procedures.
    • Attendance and participation of weekly F & B meeting and Department Head meeting.
    • To assist in menu planning and pricing.
    • Maintain records for inventory, labour cost, food cost etc.
    • Consistent check of Banquet Food and Beverage quality, Banquet services and Plate presentation.
    • Ensuring that services meet customer specifications.
    • Liaise on an on-going basis with the Food and Beverage Manager to ensure all client needs and requirements will be met.
    • Work with the Chef and Head Server to ensure all arrangements and details are dealt with.
    • Greet the customer upon arrival.
    • Provide quick service for last minute changes.
    • Check Food & Beverage or coffee Break schedule if applicable.
    • Dealing with customer complaints.
    • Inspection of Meeting Room prior to guest arrival; ensuring that client specifications have been met.
    • Co-ordinate the general housekeeping of the Ballroom, Lower Lobby, Lower public washrooms, kitchen, storage areas, entrance areas, etc.
    • Staff training and development.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • Minimum of HND/B.Sc. in any Management discipline
    • At least five (5) years practical experience in the hospitality industry
    • Specialize on both local and intercontinental dishes
    • Must have sound knowledge of food & beverage products
    • Must have refined skills in public relations
    • Must have Typing skills, Windows XP, Word, Excel, Outlook
    • Must have knowledge on Micros I/T application. (This is a must)
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Front Office Supervisor

    Responsibilities

    • Assist the Front Office Manager in ensuring the smooth and efficient overall day – to – day operations of the Front desk including reservations.
    • Provide excellent customer service per the standards of the Residence, and assist in situations to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Ensure guest requests, inquiries and concerns are addressed and completed in a timely manner.
    • Assist in the supervision and preparation of function sheets with the delivery and execution of guest welcome letters and profile updating.
    • Review guest special requests and ensure they are met or exceeded.
    • Working with all departments in the Residence to ensure we meet or exceed guests’ expectations and all guests’ billing is accurate and up to date at time of departure.
    • Act as a liaison with the Sale’s team, Food & Beverage, Facility and Housekeeping teams to ensure clear communication.
    • Assist in the administration and management of the Front Office, including but not limited to scheduling.
    • Ensure that the Department adheres to company’s policies, procedures and standards as specified in the company’s Standards and Operation Manual (SOP).
    • Assist in providing staff with ongoing coaching, training and development.
    • Coordinate Residence emergency procedures within the scope of defined plans.
    • Engage in the preparation and rendition of returns, reports and other assignments as required by Management.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • The successful candidate must have at least three years Front Office agent experience that must include handling of large group arrivals.
    • The successful candidate must have excellent command of the English language is essential, both written and verbal.
    • The successful candidate must be customer centric and have a very good relationship management skill that must include the ability to deal with all guests service situations while continually ensuring guest’s satisfaction is obtained in the Residence.
    • The successful candidate must have proven supervisory skills which should include the ability to motivate and mentor colleagues for greater productivity.
    • The successful candidate must be able to work under pressure and stressful situation.
    • The successful candidate should be person that pays attention to details and have excellent organizational skills.
    • The successful candidate should be able to work with little supervision and must be self motivated.
    • The successful candidate must have solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer applications. Knowledge of OPERA Information, Technology and Communication (ITC) would be an added advantage.
    • The successful candidate must have at least a University degree in any related discipline.
    • Must have at least 3 - 7 years work experience.
    • Degree in Social/Management Sciences.
