Responsibilties

• Identify sales opportunities and follow the sequence of activities in the Sambus Sales Cycle to achieve annual sales targets.
• Networking and building connections as well as developing new accounts to build a potential sale pipeline.
• Developing a sales document, preparing quotes, and completing sales-related administration tasks.
• Providing outstanding after-sales services to clients and managing client relationships to ensure positive customer satisfaction reviews. Achieve minimum 4-star rating (i.e. 4 out 5) in the assigned vertical.
• Collaborating with the Finance & Operations Unit and the Tech team to ensure products are ordered and delivered within agreed timelines.
• This involves transferring orders to the Finance & Operations Unit for purchases to be made and ensuring that the Tech team delivers and trains clients on products purchased within the agreed timelines.
• Drive repeat sales by checking customer purchase history and cross-selling and/or upselling clients.
• Ensure customer loyalty by generating and suggesting added value services clients end-users withing client organizations can get from the products purchased.
• Keep the product knowledge and technical skills up to date by participating in ongoing training, workshop, and career development programmes.
• Accept ownership for generating, maintaining, and expanding sales and value-addition.
• services in the assigned vertical.

Operational reporting and feedback:

• To produce periodic operational reports to the line manager and provide feedback on market and customer developments that Sambus needs to respond to.
• Client and vertical research to stay up to date of industry developments and trends to build expertise and help serve clients/potential clients better.

Know How, Education & Experience

• A Bachelor’s Degree in GIS, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
• A minimum of 4 years of sales or marketing experience.
• Technical knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of how the company products work.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• The ability to identify and follow up on leads.
• Exceptional skills in selling products and closing deals.
• Knowledge of sales promotion techniques.
• Excellent presentation skills and a professional appearance
• Knowledge of Remote Sensing and GIS.

Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 monthly.

Role Responsibilities
Support Duties:

• Day-to-day administration of servers, networks, systems, and internal infrastructure
• Troubleshooting and solving hardware and software problems based on staff issues
• Ensure that data security is adhered to in handling company data

Software Acquisition & Deployment:

• Design and monitor the implementation of end-to-end integrated systems
• Review new and existing system designs and make recommendations for improving or altering the internal I.T. systems

Infrastructure Management:

• Liaise with department heads and staff to maintain and update technical performance of internal I.T. infrastructure.
• Support the roll-out of new applications and set up new staff users' accounts andprofiles and deal with password issues
• Test and evaluate new technology
• Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment
• Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications

Responsibilities

• Facilitate instructor-led training sessions, workshops, and webinars to impart GIS knowledge and skills to individuals and groups within the organization or client base.
• Design and develop comprehensive training curricula for GIS users, encompassing fundamental concepts, advanced techniques, and best practices in utilizing GIS software such as Esri ArcGIS, HERE, NV5's geospatial solutions, and Trimble technologies.
• Work with the Operations department to coordinate training schedules, venues, resources, and logistics to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of training programmes.
• Work closely with other departments to execute projects and software training for client organizations and end-users.
• Developing training schedules based and client requirements.
• Ensure training are delivered in the best possible ways.
• Ensure client satisfaction with training sessions,
• Ensure after-sales value additions to clients and resolve complaints within 48 hours
• Achieve positive customer support ratings.
• Recommend training module for client workflow.
• Ascertain the needs of customers, promote the relevant products, and demonstrate clearly how the products work.
• Update the training manual with the new technologies.
• Assist the sales to with modules, prices, and proposals when needed.
• Submit periodic reports on training delivered.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, post-training assessments, and performance metrics to measure learning outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide recommendations and improve system design, application technology, and operational performance for customers. Serve as a trusted advisor and advocate for customers on the Sambus solution capabilities.
• Collaborate with the sales/bd teams to support the Sambus business goals and business/technical goals of customers.
• Perform any other job-related roles assigned

Know How, Education & Experience

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Geography / Remote Sensing / GIS / Surveying or related discipline.
• A minimum of 3 years of training in Geospatial Domain.
• Technical knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of how the company products work.
• Be proficient in the use of Remote Sensing and GIS software, most especially Esri and NV5 Harris software.
• Extensive GIS systems training knowledge and experience.
• Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences.
• Strong analytical skills to assess training needs, diagnose learning gaps, customize training programs, and adapt instructional strategies to address challenges or barriers to learning effectively.
• Have at least one Esri technical certifications or other Similar certifications.
• Ability to work with people with different backgrounds.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• The ability to identify and follow up on leads.
• Exceptional skills in selling products and closing deals.
• Knowledge of sales promotion techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex GIS concepts clearly, explain technical procedures concisely, and engage participants effectively during training sessions, presentations, and demonstrations.

Role Responsibilities

• Liaise with BD Lead to develop and implement marketing strategies based on the company’s annual strategic plans
• Monitor industry and competitive environment to proactively identify new opportunities, trends, emerging issues, or threats
• Recommend actions needed to maintain and improve our competitive product brand positioning and remain current with industry trends
• Apply strategic and analytical business-focused thinking to bring ideas to market
• Work with key stakeholders in Sales team and other client facing groups to create compelling, insight-driven campaigns and events to support our product brands and investment expertise on all the Company platforms.
• Ensure consistent use of positioning, brand, tone, and voice
• Promote the Company brand through direct marketing, advertisements, and brand awareness campaigns
• Manage the organization’s web platform and optimizing the search engine

Qualifications
