    Technical Sales Advisor

    Description

    Job Duties

    • Under broad direction, utilizes expertise in specific aspects of a Product Service Lines' (PSL) technology and services portfolio to educate Customers, Operations, and Business Development (BD) on features, advantages and benefits of the PSL solution offerings.
    • Under broad direction, the Technical Sales Advisor is accountable for Delivery Execution.
    • This entails utilizing a detailed knowledge base of specific sub-PSL products, services, and solutions in order to identify technical needs of customers through product knowledge and geographic understanding of challenges, aid the BD organization in pursuit of work through customer interaction and internal/external workshops, provide technical recommendations to BD for proposal preparation regarding solution up-sell, and aid operations and BD in the diagnosis and communication of solutions delivery issues.
    • Technical Sales Advisors help establish the strategic direction in the work area through clear understanding of the local customer's business drivers and technical challenges and are responsible for identifying and executing up-sell (POP Plan) strategies within a geography of responsibility.
    • Maintains an overview of the external market and Halliburton's marketing strategies by collaborating with the PSL, Region/Country Business Development, Account and Tech Teams to identify opportunities to grow profitable revenue and maintain awareness of the technology available from the PSL.
    • Provides input to PSL technology project priorities through the understanding of the market, customer's needs and technology gaps within the geographic customer base.
    • Executes tactical action plans as set by Country management team.
    • Must possess thorough understanding of the supported sub-PSL's technology and broad understanding of the associated development tools.
    • Understands and promotes the PSL's quality directives and ensures that completion or workover operations are performed in a consistent manner in compliance with all HSE and OE policies and best practices.

    Requirements

    • Requires completion of an undergraduate Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in energy services industry, preferably as a field professional.

    Area Resource Specialist III

    Job Duties

    • Under general supervision, coordinates and tracks the movement of equipment, materials, and personnel within a Natural Work Area (NWA).

    Operator Assistant I - Slickline

    Job Duties

    • Under strict supervision, assists the Service Supervisor during all phases of providing slickline services.
    • Assists with pre-job product and service equipment preparation (assembly, test, mobilization) and performance of slickline services at the well site.
    • Assists with post-job demobilization, clean up and repair of service equipment and products.
    • Given the nature of oil field service work, all employees must be able to execute written and verbal instructions and effectively exchange information with peers and superiors that will increase the likelihood of job success.
    • Every employee must be able to work as an effective team member.
    • The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is required. Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required.
    • Basic computer skills are preferred.
    • Employee will obtain driving skills and licensure as required by local conditions.
    • While an Operator Assistant, the employee's supervisors will assess his/her abilities in these key areas, and the employee will have an opportunity to confirm that Halliburton provides opportunities consistent with his/her career goals.
    • This is an entry level position in which the employee is expected to learn all relevant company HSE policies and procedures and to demonstrate their application in his/her daily performance.
    • Develops a basic understanding of energy industry activities and jargon, and he/she will develop a basic understanding of CPS products and services including general slick line processes and procedures, both at the shop and at the well site, and a basic understanding of the components of a slick line job - unit, well pressure control equipment and downhole tools.
    • This is a development position with the expectation that all Operator Assistants will advance to the Service Operator and Service Specialist positions.
