    Structural Fitter

    Job Description

    • We are seeking an experienced Structural Fitter to join our team and support the construction, installation, and upkeep of structural metal frameworks and components.
    • In this role, you will work from blueprints and technical drawings to correctly measure, align, and secure parts for use in construction and manufacturing projects. Your skills will be vital in maintaining the safety and stability of buildings, bridges, ships, and other large-scale structures.
    • The right candidate will have solid, hands-on expertise in metal fabrication, welding, and the operation of both hand and power tools. Strong ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings, follow safety standards, and work effectively on your own or with a team is required. Key qualities include accuracy, physical endurance, and dedication to high-quality workmanship.
    • Primary responsibilities involve cutting and measuring materials to precise dimensions, assembling and fitting structural frameworks, and carrying out quality inspections to meet project requirements.
    • You will also ensure proper care of tools and equipment, comply with safety guidelines, and collaborate closely with engineers, welders, and other professionals to deliver projects on time and within budget.

    Responsibilities

    • Interpret and follow blueprints, drawings, and specifications
    • Measure, cut, and shape metal components to required dimensions
    • Assemble and install structural frameworks and supports
    • Perform welding, bolting, and riveting as needed
    • Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy and quality
    • Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in safe condition
    • Collaborate with engineers, welders, and other team members
    • Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations
    • Report any issues or defects to supervisors
    • Assist with the transportation and positioning of heavy materials

    Requirements

    • High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred with 8-15 years experience.
    • Proven experience as a structural fitter or similar role
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
    • Proficiency with hand and power tools
    • Basic welding and metal fabrication skills
    • Physical stamina and ability to work at heights or in confined spaces
    • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
    • Good communication and teamwork skills
    • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
    • Flexibility to work varied hours and travel to job sites as needed.

    Hydraulic Torque & Bolt Tensioning Technician

    Job Description

    • The position of a Torque Technician is responsible for executing technical bolting and joint integrity services in accordance with approved site and Company procedures.
    • A Torque Technician will perform work as required to maximize the quality of the Company while maintaining the specified expectations of the client and ensure safe working environment while performing work and will conduct all Company business in accordance with Company policies and procedures and maintain professionalism throughout all business dealings, both internally and externally.

    Essential Functions

    • Conduct planning, break-out, assembly and inspection, and fault and leak diagnosis.
    • Maintain reporting and documentation of technical bolting service activities, as required.
    • Perform technical bolting services on client work sites.
    • Torque with clicker wrenches, hydraulic torque wrenches, stud tensioning, bolt measuring, hydraulic nut splitting, bolt calculations of pre-load, joint integrity reporting, visual positive material identification on bolted flange joint components, flange identification and damaged mechanisms.
    • Identify circumstances necessary for the use of proper safety procedures and equipment.
    • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Client safety standards and practices and to legal regulations, alerting others regarding potential hazards or concerns.
    • Maintain poise and focus under time constraint and adverse conditions.
    • Attend and complete trainings as required by the Company and client.
    • Pass all required drug/alcohol testing and background requirements.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Job Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
    • Technical school or relevant training preferred.
    • Two (2) years of industry related experience preferred.
    • Recent military service with mechanical, instrument, or electrical training
    • Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively
    • Excellent communication skills.
