    Static Mechanical Engineer

    Key Roles & Responsibilities

    • Function as Mechanical Engineer for Shallow Water Offshore (SWO) projects and assets.
    • Carry out Static equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and tanks) design, HVAC and piping design, equipment specifications, and static equipment modelling.
    • Review mechanical engineering deliverables such as drawings, datasheets, E-3D models, and calculation reports prepared by design contractors.
    • Participate and make contribution in project reviews such as E-3D model review, constructability reviews, layout reviews, mechanical handling reviews, HAZOP, SIL classification etc.
    • Verification of the design works carried out by engineering contractors to ensure proposed solutions meet integrity, reliability, operability, and maintainability requirements.
    • Provide support during the fabrication, testing, installation, and commissioning of static equipment. Conduct shop and field acceptance testing.
    • Participate in the development of the pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up plans for static equipment.
    • Support asset teams to troubleshoot static equipment performance issues, proffer solutions, and conduct field performance tests.
    • Interface with other engineering disciplines like Process, Rotating, Materials and corrosion Civil structural,, Technical safety, Quality, etc.

    Required experience

    • 7+ years of experience in engineering practice, most of the period must have been spent in the oil & gas/petrochemical industry
    • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or equivalent.
    • In-depth knowledge of ISO, API, ASME, ASHRAE, etc design standards for static equipment, piping and HVAC applications in oil and gas operation.
    • Skilled in the use of industry codes, international standards, and good knowledge of the DEM1 and DEM2 DEPs.
    • Strong team building, inter-personal and communication skills (i.e. report writing, presentation).
    • Possess capability to interpret Plant Design, 2D Autocad and E-3D PDMS models.
    • Ability to prepare design, procurement, construction, (pre) commissioning and hand-over specification packages for static equipment.
    • Visibly demonstrate personal and company HSE commitment.
    • Familiar with project development challenges in Nigeria or in other regions with similar challenges.

    Senior Architect

    Key Roles & Responsibilities

    • Design, coordinate, and oversee the architectural integration of accommodation modules, offices, and technical buildings on offshore platforms or vessels.
    • Develop functional LQ layouts, floor plans, and elevation drawings for LQ, accommodation, and utility modules
    • Manage interfaces and coordinate with other disciplines and Functions (e.g. HVAC, structural, electrical, piping, weight control, HSSE, OR&A etc.) for clash-free integration
    • Ensure designs meet international offshore codes, classification society rules, and fire/safety standards.
    • Ensuring regulatory compliance (safety, fire, HVAC), and reviewing contractor, vendor, and material specifications.
    • Balance human comfort with extreme weight constraints, hazardous zone regulations, and maritime safety standards.
    • Prepare technical specifications (TBE) and material take-offs (MTOs) for architectural items.
    • Support projects from FEED (Front End Engineering Design) to fabrication and installation, including 3D model reviews.
    • Provide technical support during fabrication, erection, and installation.
    • Support ITT development, contracting and tendering processes for the project

    Required Experience

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture, or Architectural Engineering
    • 7+ years architectural experience participating in offshore LQ projects, including experience with offshore/marine outfitting or modular construction.
    • Proven experience with offshore engineering construction &installation works for offshore oil & gas, wind energy, or marine projects.
    • Expertise in fire protection, blast resistance, ergonomics, and interior outfitting
    • Must be familiar with classification society rules (e.g., Lloyds, ABS, DNV), and international standards for Offshore Living Quarters (e.g. NORSOK C-001, IMO etc.)
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), and Aveva E3D/PDMS.

    Offshore Construction Lead

    Key Roles & Responsibilities
    The Offshore Construction Lead role supports the Offshore Construction Manager to achieve project objectives through the following accountabilities:

    • Transportation and installation of all in-country fabrication scopes (jackets and piles) and out-of-country scopes (topsides and bridges) for the HA development projects within cost & schedule.
    • Support the load-out of the three jacket structures and associated piles from the epF2 contractor (in-country).
    • Support the load-out of the three top-sides structures and two bridges from the EPF1 contractor (out-of-country).
    • Manage the transportation and installation design by the T&I contractor and manage the interface between fabricators and T&I contractors.
    • Set up a culture of strong leadership with a key focus on collaboration, transparent communication & empowerment of direct reports.
    • Manage the T&I interfaces with the following groups: Wells, EPF1, epF2, HUC and Pipelay.
    • Demonstrate visible commitment to HSSE goals, including compliance with the Life Saving Rules and Goal Zero targets.
    • Undertake or manage structural integrity assessments for the topsides and jacket structures.
    • Participate in the risk assessment process as well as other project reviews to identify key jacket, piles, topsides and bridges technical risks and propose solutions.
    • Effectively utilize the Management of Change (MOC) process.
    • Support lifting and hoisting, and marine utilities systems.
    • Ensure seamless handover of platforms and bridges to the HUC contractor.
    • Deliver risk-mitigation strategies and cost-saving opportunities through rigorous review of inspection/maintenance strategies and procedures.

    Requirements
    Academic Qualification:

    • Graduate in an Engineering discipline.
    • COREN registered with working knowledge of oil and gas facilities and project engineering systems, tools and practices.

    Required Experience:

    • Must have at least 15 years of extensive experience in the oil & gas industry.
    • Must have at least 10 years’ experience in offshore execution and at least 5 years in an offshore lead position
    • Must have experience and a proven track record in contract management and be able to maintain a good working relationship with contractors during the execution of the contracts.

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Pro-active, resilient, motivated, positive, team player, energetic.
    • Leadership experience in offshore gas production & processing, offshore mega-projects construction with sufficient depth and breadth to assess and assure the risks associated with the execution of simultaneous activities offshore, especially in shallow water.
    • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with good communication skills.
    • Proven track record of delivering results in a challenging project environment.
    • Willing to spend time at fabrication and construction locations (potentially overseas) as well as time offshore.
    • In-depth knowledge of safety management systems, emergency response, operations, marine and aviation logistics, contracts and contractor management, industrial relations, project planning, and reporting.
    • Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to develop, motivate, coach, and maintain a high-performing team and effectively lead changes in an offshore work environment and culture.Qualifications in project management are highly valued.
    • Proactive and visible HSSE leadership, demonstrating commitment to safety with SIMOPs activities and multiple Contractors.
    • Competence in managing major emergencies and delivering a culture of operational discipline.

    MCI Engineer

    Key Roles & Responsibilities

    • Work with other MCI engineers to effectively select and Specify materials for all facilities, including the topside & civil structures, pressure system static equipment, and pipeline riser inspections
    • Robust review of all design documents, policies, systems, strategies, standards, guidelines, procedures that assure quality project delivery
    • Provision of direct support to the design and construction contractor for pipelines, static (pressure) & structural equipment in the most cost-effective, efficient and safe manner.
    • Perform necessary Technical Authority role for MCI discipline covering Process containment and Static Equipment Barriers in compliance with TA roles per the Discipline Competence Assurance Framework (DCAF).

    Required Experience

    • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in metallurgical/materials/ mechanical/ Chemical engineering or equivalent.
    • 8+ years of experience in oil and gas industry with emphasis on Materials selection and specification, Degradation and Corrosion management, Integrity & Repair assessment, and Investigation of equipment failure for deepwater environment
    • A COREN registered or registerable engineer.
    • Has very good knowledge of the relevant Pipeline/static/pressure equipment/ facilities.
    • Posses’ in-depth knowledge of technical/analytical integrity inspection/certification requirements and techniques plus maintenance and attended relevant training/courses.
    • Able to provide in-depth materials, corrosion and inspection expertise required for the corrosion management of topside, subsea and pipeline systems.
    • Demonstrate understanding and usage of relevant internal and external standards, specifications, and design processes.
    • Skilled in HSSE leadership & management within sphere of influence
    • Skilled in oral and written communication. Able to convey complex issues to technical and non-technical audiences of different levels of education.
    • Ability to manage change as well as handle the challenges of a dynamic, evolving organization.
    • Ability to analyze and synthesize data and formulate strategies that have been applied and delivered results.
    • Ability to deal with multiple, often conflicting, goals and priorities under pressure while providing clear and decisive leadership.
    • Strong leadership and effective interpersonal skills are considered vital for this role.
