    Sponsored Products & Advertising Operations Associate

    Job Summary

    The Jumia advertising Sponsored Product Analyst/Ops will be responsible for growing Advertising Revenue in XXX (Country Name)  by managing campaigns from A to Z across our Sponsored Products and Display ad servers. 

    • Marketing & Advertising Campaign Management: Operate as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to campaign & product performance in Sponsored Products and Google Ad Manager
    • Campaign Optimization: Responsible for driving campaign KPIs through the day to day campaign optimization and regular alignment with key account managers
    • Troubleshooting: manage escalation to Commercial Key Account Managers as well as Advertising colleagues to resolve any client, product, or technical issues
    • KPI management: Operate based on specific quality focused-outcomes for KPIs like Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS), Click-Through Rate (CTR), and Conversions 
    • Communication specialist: Efficient at communicating improvements for campaigns and getting buy-in from internal stakeholders

    Job Requirements

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Hands-on experience working with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI, DataStudio 
    • Advanced knowledge of Excel
    • Exceptional communication skills
    • Strong team-working skills, ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment with a passion for making an impact

    Senior Account Manager (Zonal Manager)

    Job Objective(s)

    • The senior account manager (zonal manager) will lead the strategy and project manage all initiatives and pilots related to last mile delivery.
    • Have either individually or as part of a team, created or improved ways of leveraging the company’s existing or potential assets to fulfill goods to consumers.

    Responsibilities

    • Managing the talent pool of Jumia Services and building a strong leadership team in Delivery
    • Actively design and steer CXP and VXP excellence projects along with Local and Central operations leaders
    • Design and own end to end the Last mile unit costs strategy to meet both our requirements of CXP/VXP and unit economics targets
    • Actively feed and contribute to the system roadmap design to deliver the required instruments for this logistics success
    • Leading the scale up and expansion of last mile footprint (3PL expansion, pick up station expansion, Delivery Associates hiring and expansion).
    • Own and create the 3PL community management for Jumia 
    • Manage and improve fleet management practices, team and cost of operation Create a culture of best-in-class material handling in Last mile
    • Lead key transformations in supply chain (or in partnership), allowing our last mile hubs to receive product faster and more often without increasing costs of delivery
    • Ability to work cross functionally with key fulfillment partners such as Logistics, supply chain and other partners, such as IT

    Required Qualifications

    • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university; Degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Email, Internet etc.
    • Proficient in Google Office Suite - Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Gmail, etc.

    Relevant Experience:

    • 5 years minimum experience in logistics operations
    • Experience in strategy and complex network management
    • Good Knowledge of the Logistical Operations in the local market is a plus.

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Process oriented, well-organized with a high level of attention to detail
    • Data oriented with strong analytical and conceptual skills
    • Communicate effectively with counterparts in Logistics Department
    • Excellent team management skills

    Social Media Manager

    Job Objective

    • As Social Media manager, your role will be to support Jumia developing its brand across SoMe channels (Instagram, FB, YouTube, Twitter and TikTok).
    • You will leverage and develop Jumia’s community of influencers. You will execute our content strategy across all SoMe, designing posts that generate engagement. Ultimately, your goal will be to contribute to positioning Jumia a relevant and engaging brand, associated with trendy content and positive conversations.
    • Thus, you will be at the core of the Jumia brand building strategy. You will need to be extremely tuned to trends, influencers, and generally speaking be completely passionate about Social Media.

    Responsibilities

    • Plan and execute quality content aiming to improve Jumia’s content quality.
    • Make checks on all our SoMe on a daily basis
    • Plan content weekly to ensure posts generate the right level of engagement
    • Collaborate with graphics team to ensure quality visuals for your content
    • Be ahead of the curve for all the viral trends
    • Trending products, challenges, reposts, videos, etc….
    • Share best practices across countries
    • Generate weekly plans and reports to improve KPIs
    • Monitor implementation and scale up Jumia’s relationship with influencers
    • Ensure growth on # influencers participating to Jumia’s campaigns
    • Assess the quality of the influencers and emulate the community
    • Frequently interact with them to ensure they are excited to work with Jumia
    • Monitor the impact of their posts on KPIs and steer performance
    • Scale the # orders driven through influencers

    KPIs to evaluate success:

    • Number of influencers and number of orders driven from their content
    • Average Engagement on IG, FB and Twitter
    • Daily Active Users driven from social platforms
    • Routine compliance (weekly report, weekly content plan, monthly planning with influencers, weekly CMO review)

    Qualification & Experience

    • Must have 5-6 years Agency experience
    • Passion for social media scene and trends
    • Fast learning abilities and analytical skills
    • Previous experience with social media (eg working in an agency) a plus
    • Well organized and ability to simultaneously handle multiple projects
    • Excellent communication skills in English, and willingness to be immersed in a very international and entrepreneurial environment.
