    Service Fulfillment Engineer

    The Role

    • You will be on the ground -installing, configuring, and activating ipNX customer services across fiber and wireless networks.
    • This is a hands-on field engineering role where your work directly determines how customers experience ipNX from Day 1.

    What You Will Do

    • Execute end-to-end fiber and wireless service installations for enterprise and residential customers
    • Install and configure CPEsrouters, switches, IP phones, and ONTs on customer premises
    • Conduct last-mile troubleshooting to ensure services meet quality and performance standards
    • Liaise with NOC, Infrastructure, and Customer Care teams for seamless service delivery
    • Update installation records accurately in CRM/ERP/OSS systems
    • Mentor and guide a small team of interns in the field

    You Are the Right Fit If You Have

    • BSc Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline - minimum 2.1
    • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in telecoms, ISP, or ICT service delivery
    • Solid understanding of IP networking -LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS
    • Practical experience configuring routers, switches, and network connectivity devices
    • Familiarity with fiber optic and wireless access technologies
    • Knowledge of troubleshooting tools -ping, traceroute, OTDR, cable testers
    • Bonus: Cisco certification | NYSC/internship experience in an ISP or telecoms environment

    Field Operations Engineer

    The Role

    • You are the operational link between ipNX's central planning teams and the field. 
    • You will dispatch contractors, track job completion, manage regional spares, and ensure every installation and fault resolution meets ipNX's quality standards. 
    • This is a coordination-heavy role that keeps field operations running smoothly across your assigned region.

    What You Will Do

    • Dispatch contractors within 2 hours of request — matching the right person to the right job
    • Track all field jobs in real time via the FSM platform and escalate delays promptly
    • Manage regional spares inventory — ensuring materials are always available for deployments
    • Verify completed jobs against quality standards before closure
    • Coordinate fibre splicing crews, ensure OTDR testing is completed and documented
    • Onboard and train new contractors on ipNX standards and FSM app usage
    • Prepare daily dispatch reports and weekly regional performance summaries.

    You Are the Right Fit If You Have

    •  Bachelor's Degree or HND in Engineering, IT, Business Administration, or related field (2.2/2.1/uppercredit only)
    •  3–5 years in field operations, technical coordination, or logistics roles 
    •  Experience coordinating contractors or field technicians 
    •  At least ONE mandatory certification — CompTIA Network+, MikroTik MTCNA, or CFOS/T 
    •  Familiarity with fibre optic installations and OTDR testing 
    •  Experience with workforce management or ticketing systems 
    •  Strong MS Office skills — Excel, Word, Outlook.
    • Bonus: Cisco CCNA | PMP or PRINCE2 Foundation | ITIL v4 | Valid driver's license.

    • You are not familiar with fibre optic installations or field documentation
    • You are not comfortable working flexible hours for urgent dispatches.
