Job Summary

We\'re looking for a Senior Legal Officer, who is a key member of the Legal team responsible for providing robust legal support, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing corporate governance matters within the Nigerian oil and gas sector.

Qualifications

• Master of Laws (LL.M), Barrister at Law (BL), Bachelor of Laws (LL.B)
• First degree in Law from a recognized university, with a minimum of a second-class grade.
• Minimum of 4 years’ post-call legal experience either from a reputable law firm or within the Legal department of a reputable and structured business environment.
• Membership of ICSAN, or equivalent professional body is an added advantage.

Core Competences

• In-depth Oil & Gas Industry Knowledge, History and Dynamics.
• Knowledge of the local, national and international laws and regulations.
• Excellent Company Secretarial Practice.
• Corporate Governance and Board Management.
• Preferably Male (for gender balance).
