    Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst

    About the Role

    • This position involves conducting in-depth financial modeling, preparing forecasts, and providing insights to senior management.
    • The Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams, contributing to budgetary processes and assisting in the development of key financial reports.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain financial models, tools, and systems to support the budgeting and forecasting process.
    • Analyse financial data, trends, and performance indicators to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
    • Prepare and present financial reports and variance analysis to management, highlighting key findings and areas of concern.
    • Coordinate and manage the annual budgeting process, working closely with different depa rtments and stakeho Iders.
    • Monitor and track key financial metrics and KPIs, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
    • Conduct fina ncial revi ews and audits to identify areas of improvement and potential risks.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial support and guidance on business initiatives and strategic projects.
    • Assist in developing and evaluating business cases for capital investments and other financial proposals.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and financial planning and analysis best practices.
    • Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to the finance team, promoting a culture Of continuous improvement and high performance.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certifications CFA, ACCA, ICAN) are an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 5 (five) years experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
    • Strong analytical and problem -solving skills, with the abilityto interpret complex financial data.
    • Strong kn owledge offinancial planning and analysis processes and tools.
    • Advanced proficiency in financial modelling and spreadsheet software (e.g„ Excel).
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications with advanced Excel skills is mandatory.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non -financial stakeholders.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

    • This position involves close collaboration with key stakeholders to understand current and future talent needs, contributing significantly to workforce planning.

    Responsibilities

    • Strategic Recruitment Planning: Develop and execute the organisation's talent acquisition strategy in alignment with business goals a nd workforce plann ing needs.
    • Talent Sourcing and Attraction: I mplement innovative and effective sourcing strategies tc attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates through various channels, including online platforms, social media, networking events, and direct sourcing.
    • Candidate Assessment and Selection: Design and implement a comprehensive candidate assessment and selection process, including the use of behavioural interviews, assessments, pre-employment screenings, and reference checks.
    • Employer branding: Work closely with the marketing team to enhance the organisation's employer brand, ensuring a positive ca nd idate experience throughout the recruitment process.

    • Onboarding and New Hire Integration: Collaborate With the HR team to facilitate new hires' smooth onboarding and integration, ensuring a positive and engaging experience
    • Compliance and Legal Requirements: Stay up to date with employment laws and regulations, ensuring recruitment practices comply with relevant legi and company policies.
    • Talent Acquisition Team Ma nagement: Lead a nd develop a high-performing talent acquisition team, providing guidance, coaching, and continuous training to ensure their success.
    • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance recruitmentprocesses, tools, and tec hno logies, staying current with industry trends and best practices.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
    • Minimum of 4years of people management in an HRfunction.
    • 7+ years of direct and relevant HR experience in talent acquisition or recruitment leadership roles.
    • HR certification(s) (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR) is a plus.
    • In-depth knowledge of recruitment strategies, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methodologies.with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software,
    • Strong understa nding Of employment laws, regulations, a nd diversity and ion practices.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
    • Analytical mindsetwith the abilityto analyse data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
