    Sales Associate Exhibition (Tradeshow)

    Job Description

    • A Sales Associate in an exhibition setting plays a pivotal role in both customer engagement and the operational success of events spaces.
    • This position uniquely blends sales expertise with a deep appreciation for exhibitions, ensuring that visitors have enriching experiences while driving revenue through sales and event promotion.

    Responsibilities

    • Customer Engagement & Sales.
    • Prepare proposals and promotional materials for Exhibition
    • Client Relations management
    • Contribute to marketing efforts, including social media promotion and email campaigns.
    • Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform future exhibitions and sales strategies.
    • Selling exhibition stands and sponsorships, particularly for B2B events, with a focus on relationship-building and revenue growth
    • Creative proposal development and market trend awareness remain central, alongside relationship cultivation with exhibitors and sponsors.
    • Meet and exceed sales targets, whether for exhibition stands, sponsorship packages, or touring exhibitions.
    • Prospect, qualify, and close new leads, including developing new accounts and nurturing existing client relationships.
    • Build and maintain long-term strategic partnerships with exhibitors, or sponsors.
    • Manage exhibitor clients at events, including handling pre-show bookings, on-site coordination, and post-event rebooking.
    • Deliver sales presentations and craft compelling proposals to effectively communicate value and close opportunities.
    • Work alongside marketing teams to integrate sponsorship opportunities and maximize exposure for clients.
    • Monitor market trends, conduct competitive analysis, and identify growth areas to inform sales strategies.
    • Attend industry events and conferences to expand networks, gain insights, and promote the company.
    • Coordinate with production or operations teams to ensure client contracts align with exhibition floor plans and logistical considerations.
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline status, and client data using CRM systems like Salesforce.
    • Offer input on exhibition design, service improvements, and product or concept development.
    • Seamless coordination between marketing, production, and client management, ensuring consistency from contract to booth layout.
    • Stay updated through professional development, workshops, publications, and networking.
    • Exhibition Support & Inventory Management
    • Maintain accurate records of inventory, including sales documentation and provenance details.
    • Ensure the exhibition space is organized, clean, and visually appealing to enhance visitor experience.
    • Event Coordination & External Representation
    • Any other duties as may be assigned

    Requirements & Skills

    • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing trade shows or similar events.
    • Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking skills.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
    • Ability to travel occasionally and work flexible hours, including weekends.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing budgets and achieving event objectives.

    Engagement Associate - Exhibition (Tradeshow)

    Job Description

    • This role centers on developing meaningful engagement strategies within exhibitions.
    • Acts as a frontline ambassador for supporting visitor experience and basic operations.

    Responsibilities

    • Developing exhibitions' engagement strategies, partnerships and evaluation
    • Engaging sponsors from contract signing to post-event follow-up, ensuring seamless communication and a positive experience throughout.
    • Maintaining and deepening sponsor relationships, exploring renewals and upsell opportunities.
    • Provide orientation, and details on exhibitions and programs
    • Manage check-ins, respond to inquiries, and collect visitor feedback.
    • Operational Support.
    • Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to inspire creative audience initiatives.
    • Bring fresh, inclusive voices and ideas into exhibitions and programming.
    • Manage project deliverables, budgets, and schedules.
    • Collect feedback, evaluate impact, and apply findings to future initiatives for continuous improvement.
    • Handling guest interactions and supporting day-to-day operations.
    • Creating content, forging partnerships, conducting outreach, and tracking effectiveness.
    • Acts as a public-facing team member, ensuring smooth visitor experiences and supporting exhibition operations.
    • Managing opening and closing procedures
    • Providing administrative and logistical support in organizing member and supporter events.
    • Helping produce reports that track and illustrate the engagement team’s outcomes and impact.
    • Designing and delivering inclusive, engaging programs linked to exhibitions and research.
    • Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to co-create meaningful cultural offerings.
    • Managing budgets, timelines, and delivering programs on time; collecting feedback and driving continuous enhancements.
    • Handling schedules, budgets, documentation, and program evaluation.
    • Oversee logistics such as booth setup, space allocation, signage, and activations in collaboration with event staff.
    • Identify emerging sponsor opportunities, market trends, and competitive insights to inform strategic outreach.
    • Any other duties as may be assigned.
