    Retail Store Supervisor

    Requirements:

    • Minimum HND/B.Sc degree
    • 4 Years relevant work experience
    • Physically fit to stand for hours and lift heavy items
    • Lives within 30 -45 minutes commute to the location

    Responsibility

    • Responsible for the management, operations and success of the assigned store
    • Ensure the store is operated in line with the Company’s culture, policies and standard operating procedures.
    • Keep the store in order and clean.
    • Take care of a sufficient inventory according to the company´s order system and inventory policy (no missing items, no excessive stock, fresh products).
    • Ensure that all customers are approached in a friendly way.
    • Ensure as little shrinkage as possible.
    • Manage the personnel in the most efficient way.
    • In order to stay ahead of competition, it is required to apply the principle of economy the maximum extent.

    Specific Decisions and Responsibilities:

    • The Store Supervisor performs all tasks of his Assistants (cleaning, unloading of pallets, working at the checkout etc).
    • Makes sure that all reports, cash and receipts are correct and complete.
    • Makes sure all cashiers are well trained.
    • Plans the schedule of his team including the holiday plans
    • Plans the breaks of the staff.
    • Suggests potential cashiers as Store Supervisor or Store Supervisor’s Deputies.
    • Responsible for the final calculation and complete documentation at the end of the shift of each cashier.
    • Is in charge of arranging correct money transfers to the bank.
    • Is in charge of all cancellations of total receipt, complaints as well as returns from customers. If he judges that a customer complaint is suspicious or unjustified he reports the case to the Area Manager for decision.
    • Checks the procedure at the check out
    • Checks the deliveries from the Warehouse and direct suppliers and reports any delivery mistakes.
    • Responsible for all books, reports and forms in the store.
    • Decides on orders and order quantities
    • Responsible for correct counting in case of physical inventories.
    • Trains personnel for other stores in case required.
    • Responsible for 100 % price label accuracy.

    Regional Assistant Accountant

    Position Objectives:

    • Guarantee that the region's accounting/financial information is recorded in a reliable and timely manner, in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards and state regulations.

    Functions and responsibilities:

    • Review and approve the accounting records generated, ensuring their integrity and reasonableness.
    • Daily reconcile the information from the regional stores regarding the collection between the NetSuite and POS systems, in order for them to be consistent and report if there are differences.
    • Control balances and cash movements in stores.
    • Keep accounting books updated, ensuring that accounting records are reliable, timely and reasonable.
    • Carry out the accounting closing within the established deadlines, complying with the processes related to it.
    • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements/reports related to regional accounting.
    • Plan, carry out and present the report on news on cash counts of sales and cash reserves of stores.
    • Cooperate with other departments in the preparation of reports that allow controls to be carried out and possible risks to be determined.
    • Manage accounting and tax documentation

    Requirements

    • Degree in Accounting or related field
    • Experience managing large volume inventories and financial transactions
    • At least 4-5 years work experience in related role
    • Experience in Retail/FMCG is an added advantage

    Numerical skills

    • Knowledge of Accounting standards and practices
    • Good knowledge of accounting software

    Regional Treasurer

    Position Objectives:

    • Manage monetary resources in the most efficient way to meet regional commitments, always having the cash necessary to make payments on time.

    Functions and responsibilities:

    • Control bank balances, as well as record and submit daily reports on the regional banking movements.
    • Verify that all payments made to the treasury area are duly supported and that the supporting documents comply with the legal requirements and those required by the company.
    • Verify that payments to suppliers are made on the agreed dates.
    • Control the payment of the financial obligations of the company, its interests, and other financial charges.
    • Prepare reports on the status of accounts receivable from suppliers (Advances).
    • Prepare weekly projected cash flow reports.
    • Analyze variances/deviations from planned cash utilization for each department.
    • Updating and remitting Monthly tax payments and Pension schedules for all employees
    • Provide company cash balances daily.
    • Weekly cash utilization report and projections for Monthly/Quarterly cash needs for the company.
    • Co-ordinating cash officers to provide daily analysis of cash deposits and reconciliations.
    • Preparing weekly payments schedule for payments due and fulfilling these payments timely.
    • Manage formal reports as regards Treasury operations and all company bank statements.
