Requirements

• BSc degree in Business Administration, hospitality management or culinary schooling is a plus
• Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role in a QSR will be an added advantage
• Proven customer service experience as a manager
• Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with the ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
• Familiarity with restaurant management software, like OpenTable and PeachWorks
• Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
• A cute financial management skills
• Overseeing daily operations, including front and back-of-house; managing finances and inventory
• Ability to save costs and implement business strategy
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and food quality standards
• Handling customer service and complaints
• Implementing marketing and promotional strategies.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
• Prepare timely monthly financial statementsCoordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
• Research technical accounting issues for complianceSupport month-end and year-end close process
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Additional controller duties as necessary.

Requirements

• An advanced degree in Accounting Professional certifications (ICAN, ACCA etc.) is required.
• Proven working experience as a Financial Controller 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
• Proven experience in the role at a QSR Hospitality, and/or related industries
• Preferred Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience with creating financial statements
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
