    QHSE Coordinator (Shore Base)

    Job Description

    • Delivery of required range of QHSE support services to company. The primary responsibilities of this position include creating and promoting a safe and responsible work environment.
    • To ensure day-to-day coordination of QHSE matters in country, on the base and vessels.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Provision and implementation of companyprocesses and procedures as per Company IMS.
    • Ensure standardization of HSE Documents in line with regional requirements and national legislation.
    • Assist the QHSE Manager with development, implementation, and certification of companyagainst ISO standards.
    • Prepare and communicate the monthly HSE reports and figures following reporting instructions.
    • Collect, analyse and follow up fleet HSE KPIs for dedicated fleet.
    • Monitor local Company HSE initiatives.
    • Coordinate training programs/seminars for all employees and run inductions for new comers.
    • Coordinate and participate in safety committee meetings for employees, clients and subcontractors, and maintain meeting records.
    • Conduct regular site/vessels visits to include safety compliance inspections, risk assessments, hazard analysis.
    • Perform internal audits/inspections and external audits as per requirements.
    • Develop and implement safety programs through the daily and weekly inspection of areas, and base/site.
    • Audit contractors’ safety programs.
    • Ensure the timely completion of accident/injury reporting and perform incident investigations.
    • Follow up employees’ medical certification to guarantee all are up to date and in line with company and client requirements and local regulations.
    • Assist in other tasks assigned by the QHSE Manager.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Degree qualified or equivalent professional registration preferred.
    • Proficiency in Office tools (Word, Excel).
    • 3 - 5 years as QHSE Coordinator with Marine experience.
    • Experience of implementation of quality management systems.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills required.
    • Oral and written communications skills (English and the official language of the Country).
    • Accomplished ability in training and mentoring personnel in HSE.
    • Understanding of security issues pertaining to the Country.
    • Flexible approach to work and travel to meet business needs. Including travelling offshore to assist company’s fleet.
    • Capacity to work in multicultural environments.

    Senior Accountant - Operations and M&A

    Description

    • Our client is looking to hire a Senior Accountant to support our strategic initiatives. The role would cover bank reconciliations, financial statements analysis, financial modeling, accounting due diligence, preparing quality of earnings reports and additional duties.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare quality of earnings report for potential acquisition targets.
    • Development of various types of financial models to value debt and equity for mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising transactions.
    • Perform various valuation methods - comparable companies, precedents, and DCF.
    • Develop recommendations for product offerings, private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and valuations.
    • Conduct preparation and review of materials used in the financing of clients, including investment memoranda, management presentations, and pitch books.
    • Develop relationships with new and existing clients in order to expand the business.
    • Perform due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation of live transactions.
    • Create presentations for client portfolios.
    • Affinity for current events, critical issues, and relevant news.
    • Preparing all monthly, quarterly and yearly tax reports and ensuring that necessary filings and payments are done on time
    • Perform treasury function including handling and controlling of payments to vendors and handling of cash
    • Perform monthly staff payroll/ tax deductions and all related calculations.
    • Perform Weekly /monthly bank reconciliations and analysis of FOREX gains/losses.
    • Supervising and performing monthly or end year stock takings / inventory valuation where applicable.
    • Setting up and maintaining policies and procedures including requirements on controls and documentation for management
    • Managing the external audit and ensuring that it is completed on time.

    Relevant Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

    • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
    • Professional qualification: ACA/ ACCA/CIMA qualified (CPA is a plus) -
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in an Accounting, Audit or Consulting role.
    • We require 5+ years Accounting experience, ideally within an Accounting, Consulting or Audit firm.
    • Great knowledge of accounting systems (Access Dimensions, Quick Books, SAGE etc.).
    • Strong knowledge of internal control principles, operational risk evaluation.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with minimal supervision.
    • Working knowledge of deal structuring and closing principals.
    • Strong communication and networking skills.
    • Impeccable research, quantitative and analytical skills, especially in explaining market events.
    • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel and VBA.
    • Ability to organize and track overlapping tasks and assignments, with frequent priority changes.
    • Strong financial modeling skills.

    Marine Superintendent

    Job Scope

    • The Marine Superintendent is the Company representative for the client in all marine, operational and technical matters if required to ensure that daily operations are performed in a safe manner respecting all applicable laws and regulations.

    Duties and Responsibilities
    Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE):

    • Active participation in the preparation and analysis of the operations whilst maintaining QHSE standards of the company.
    • Ensure that QHSE client rules are being respected during operations.
    • Act safely and report all anomalies, incidents and near misses in conjunction with the QHSE Manager.
    • Ensure that all related HSE certificates for vessels and crew are valid and comply with company and clients’ requirements.
    • Actively participate in the investigation of any accident or incident and produce the related report in conjunction with the QHSE Manager.
    • Make sure that company Safety Management System is being applied in the perimeter of company operations.
    • Make sure that HSE reports are properly provided to the QHSE Manager in order to issue the related KPI follow up.
    • Must report to QHSE Manager for all QHSE related matters.
    • Actively participates in ensuring a healthy and safety working environment for all and no harm is caused to the environment.
    • Responsible for complying with all Company Management System guidelines and policies.

    Operations:

    • Follow and assist daily operations of the vessels working in the country.
    • Act as focal point for clients in all operational and technical matters (if required) that could arise during their activities.
    • Perform crew approvals in accordance with the procedures set by the respective client.
    • Follow action plans established after client audits and liaise with the vessel and owner for a proper close out.
    • Perform monthly visits to the different vessels working in the country to evaluate vessel’s condition, crew status and compliance with the applicable regulations.
    • Monitor vessel’s required certification status confirming all is up to date
    • Ensure that vessels comply with international and local regulations as well as respective ISM, ISPS code, client rules and procedures.
    • Adhere to internal and external audits plans, follow up of non-conformities and corrective actions plans.
    • Provide advice to vessel Masters on operations, delivering assistance when required.
    • Ensure that all mandatory procedures (tool box talks, risk assessments, permits to work, etc.) are properly and effectively followed and applied.
    • Ensure that vessels have on board the required procedures, certificates, publications, operating manuals and any documentation requested by flag state, class and client.
    • Make sure that IMCA guidelines are adhered to for DP operations, equipment condition and personnel requirements.
    • Follow up and assist on vessels’ local requests as well as overseas shipments. Confirm the proper and timely reception on board.
    • Assist on any repair request as well as scheduled dry dock preparation while the vessel is in the country.

    Contract

    • Liaise with clients on contract follow up and requirements. Ensure that contractual conditions are being respected.
    • Maintain contact with commercial department to be aware of contracts duration and future assignment in the country.
    • Assist on new contracts opportunities maintaining close contact with oil & gas companies based in the country.
    • Introduce and promote the company in the local market.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Master Unlimited license an advantage but not mandatory
    • 5 - 10 years work experience.
    • Senior DP Operator
    • Previous experience as Master on board offshore vessels an advantage but not mandatory.
    • Experience in oil and gas industry (at least 5 years), shore based experience is a plus
    • Fluent English language and language spoken by country of operations
