Responsibilities

• Work closely with product designers and engineers to create simple, smart, and exciting products that reflect the needs of our customers
• Establish and own a variety of metrics related to customer onboarding (like rate of success for identity verification)
• Evaluate third-party technology vendors and develop business cases for how we can continue to boost our clients’ onboarding rates while managing the trade-off between efficiency, user experience, and cost.
• Continuously drive the innovation of exciting features that meet the needs of our diverse, continuously evolving users
• Work with the engineering department to scope out delivery plans and manage the entire delivery process of projects
• Define product strategy and requirements and work with necessary stakeholders to achieve it successfully and on time.
• Work with senior management to create product solutions
• Creating detailed product outlines and working with clients to fine-tune them.
• Taking charge of product development.
• Preparing budgets, allocating resources, and delegating tasks.
• Ensuring product development is on track and adjusting schedules as required.
• Working with various design teams to produce product prototypes.
• Conducting market research and obtaining consumer feedback on products.
• Obtaining feedback from clients, designers, and engineers, and adjusting product specifications as needed.
• Communicate product features and functions to cross functional teams at all levels clearly
• Documentation of Products, User Guides and Technical Architecture.

Minimum Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Product Manager/Product Manager
• Engineering background is a plus
• Previous experience managing multiple teams is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in analyzing data from a variety of sources to identify key insights, pinpoint optimization opportunities, and inform product decisions.
• Extensive experience using remote communication tools and project management tools like Jira, and other project management tools as well as applying clear communication and collaboration practices to effectively engage teammates and stakeholders.
• Expertise in designing user-centric products and a strong product instinct with the ability to refine a list of vague, dense, undefined requirements and desires into actionable items for implementation.
• Must have a strong leadership mindset that motivates others to achieve better results together.
• A keen eye for detail.

Position Overview

• Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Growth, or his/her designee. The Operations executive is responsible for managing verification request flow, monitor quality of agent’s verification report and timelines to reduce breach in customers SLA.
• The ideal candidate will be passionate about Operational process, quality control, customers overall satisfaction, communications, and focused on enhancing customer retention.
• The operations executive will be responsible for analysing request inflow from address, guarantor, and employment verification, also provide daily update on verification request completed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all late verification request are given full attention to meet SLA timeline
• Responsible for following up with late verification and feedback to customer.
• Follow up on reported bugs and requirements
• Ensure agent management maintains 100% agent spread nationwide
• Provide documentation and business intelligence for new requirement on Admin portal and Agent App
• Escalate customer issues to the Senior Manager VS/AM.
• Monitor internal operational processes and ensure compliance.
• Manage difficult applicant who has refused verification.
• Follow-up with team members to ensure timely fulfilment of client verification requests.
• Host and manage report and flagging issue during VS morning calls
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the Senior Manager, VS and AM

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 2 - 4 years of work experience.
• The successful candidate must possess exceptional leadership skill, attention to details, planning and time management skills.
• They must be self-motivated and possess the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and under immense pressure.
• To perform efficiently in this role, the candidate must be willing to go above and beyond the responsibilities stated above to meet all operational goals.

In addition, the right candidate must have:

• Prior experience in operations admin, logistics and a good knowledge of Nigeria road network
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suites especially Excel
• He/she must be tech Savvy
• People management skill
• Great time management skills.
