    Preparatory Class Teacher

    Key Responsibilities

    • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that supports early childhood development.
    • Use creative and play-based teaching methods to support pupils’ cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
    • Encourage curiosity, confidence, and positive learning behaviors in young learners.
    • Observe, assess, and record pupils’ progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
    • Apply Assessment for Learning strategies appropriate for early years education.
    • Select and use a variety of learning resources, including visual aids, manipulatives, and educational play materials.
    • Support pupils with varying abilities and learning needs, including children with learning or developmental difficulties (LDD).
    • Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and parents to promote pupils’ overall development.
    • Maintain accurate records, prepare progress reports, and participate in school meetings and training sessions.
    • Uphold school policies, safeguarding standards, and classroom management best practices.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Degree in Education or Early Childhood Education (or related field).
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with young children in a preparatory or early years classroom.
    • Strong understanding of early childhood development and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
    • Certification in CPR and First Aid is an added advantage.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • High level of patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young learners.
    • Resourceful and able to adapt instructional materials to meet individual learning needs.
    • Excellent recordkeeping skills and strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to work effectively with parents, teachers, and school administrators.

    Secondary School English / Literature Teacher (IGCSE)

    Key Responsibilities

    • Reading all prescribed books and additional resources to gain a thorough understanding of them before developing lesson plans and curricula.
    • Collaborating with other English department staff to develop lesson plans, teaching strategies, and interventions.
    • Preparing students for formal and informal assessments.
    • Grading tests, pop quizzes, assignments, exams, and other assessments, and communicating with parents, students, teachers, and counsellors regarding underperformance and other concerns.
    • Organising guest speakers, literary events, and field trips.
    • Keeping abreast of current events and incorporating these events and themes into lessons to make them more relevant to students.
    • Ensuring all curriculum, school, and state requirements are met.
    • Assessing student needs and providing support or extra resources to struggling students, as well as exceptional achievers
    • Using technology to improve lesson delivery and recordkeeping.
    • Expanding teacher networks and participating in workshops, lectures, and other learning opportunities.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in English (MSc is a plus)
    • Minimum of 5 years of previous experience as an English teacher

    • Solid knowledge of subject matter, including curriculum and assessments
    • Proficient in technology and computer applications
    • Up-to-date with the latest teaching techniques and topics in English instruction

    School Chef

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan, prepare, and cook nutritious, well-balanced meals for nursery and primary school pupils.
    • Prepare a variety of continental and international dishes, adapted to suit children’s nutritional needs.
    • Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized kitchen environment at all times.
    • Manage food inventory, storage, and stock control while minimizing waste.
    • Cater to special dietary requirements, allergies, and cultural food preferences.
    • Supervise and coordinate kitchen assistants or support staff, where applicable.
