    Pharmacist

    Job Description

    A reputable pharmacy with high standard quality of care, located in Lagos state, is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and purpose driven individual to fill the role of a pharmacist in our dynamic team.

    Job Location: Mangoro, Agege Motor Road, Lagos state

    Job Description

    • Dispense medications as prescribed by physicians.
    • Monitor customers’ drug therapies, advise on interventions, and inform customers of any potential side effects.
    • Instruct customers on how and when to take prescribed medications.
    • Conduct health and wellness screenings as the need arises.
    • Provide immunizations, and other medical services, such as checking customers’ blood pressure, temperature measurements, and checking blood sugar levels.
    • Maintain accurate customer records and ensure information is updated accordingly.
    • Ensure a safe and clean working environment to facilitate quality service delivery to customers.
    • Adhere to applicable regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice in Nigeria.

    Educational Qualification/Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy/valid certificate from the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria
    • Proven years of experience as a pharmacist.
    • Valid license to practice as a pharmacist.
    • Detailed understanding and knowledge of dosage requirements and administration, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands.
    • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Pharmacy Manager

    Job Description

    • Oversee the daily business operations of the pharmacy by ensuring adherence to processes and procedures by all stakeholders
    • Conduct SWOT analysis periodically and keep top management abreast of trends in the industry so as to maintain a competitive edge in the market
    • Assessing and identifying new opportunities for growth in current and prospective markets
    • Ensure all activities and processes in the pharmacy conform with applicable legal and regulatory guidelines
    • Implement strategies to enhance competiveness, revenue generation and profit maximization
    • Manage stock inventory by accurately updating supply and sales records daily 
    • Prepare detailed periodic reports for review by top management team
    • Ensure customers are properly informed on drug dosage, administration and potential side effects
    • Monitor staffs’ performance by ensuring adherence to policies, code of conduct and SOPs
    • Evaluate staffs’ performance on a periodic basis

    Pharmacy Technician

    Job Description

    • Assist the pharmacist in identify medications and providing guidelines for the use of each medication as it relates to a customer
    • Document customer records to ensure that basic information about the customer’s personal/family health history are properly captured
    • Sterilize surfaces and equipment daily before attending to customers
    • Assist the pharmacist in conducting health and wellness screenings as the need arises.
    • Perform all administrative tasks in the pharmacy by maintaining a standard filing/record system both electronically and in hardcopy
    • Label each medication and outline dosage correctly
    • Ensure a safe and clean working environment to facilitate quality service delivery to customers.
    • Adhere to applicable regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice in Nigeria.
    • Comply with applicable security, safety and quality measures

    Educational Qualification/Skills

    • At least a diploma in pharmacy technician or a certificate of training from the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN)
    • Proven years of experience as a pharmacy technician.
    • Detailed understanding and knowledge of dosage requirements and administration, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands.
    • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
