    Perkins Parts Sales Representative

    MAIN FUNCTIONS

    • Visiting customers prospecting for spare parts, unit sales and service opportunities and as well seeking regular patronage.
    • Plan weekly coverage program in conjunction with the manager to cover the customer’s list assigned and related pending deals.
    • Execution of DELTA growth strategic action plan.
    • Present DELTA products and After sales support, answering all technical and commercial enquiries and report all to the Manager.
    • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Result-driven and motivated to meet sales targets
    • Proven sales experience, preferably in a similar industry
    • Obtains orders that meet or exceed agreed targets and negotiate sales into high value projects.
    • Prepare relevant quotations and/or tenders (accurate and complete to requirement), present to customers, arrange follow-up activities as desired, and ensure conversion to effective sales.
    • Ensure prompt delivery of spare parts (including back-ordered items) and corresponding invoices to engender customer satisfaction and early payment as they fall due.
    • Investigate the market situation of competitor products, prices, commercial terms and document report to the Manager.
    • Promptly and effectively resolve customer complaints such as to retain their goodwill and confidence in the product, services and the dealership at large.
    • Establish and report competitive activities and sales opportunities (for spare parts, units). Implement actions that will ensure prompt and adequate conversion to Prime products sales & Spare parts.
    • Perform any other related duties as may be required.

    QUALIFICATION

    • HND/B.Sc. in Marketing, Engineering or relevant academic qualification with a minimum of 2 years relevant technical experience.
    • Ability to drive and has a license.

    Product Support Sales Representative

    SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure achievement of agreed sales targets and performance objectives, thus ensuring the achievement of parts sales profit objective in all Segment

    MAIN FUNCTIONS

    • Visiting customers in the Region (old and new), prospecting for parts, unit sales and service opportunities and as well seek for regular patronage.
    • Ensure prompt delivery of parts or services (including back-ordered items) and corresponding invoices to engender customer satisfaction and early payment as they fall due.
    • Preparation and implementation of weekly call plan and corresponding summary report.
    • Preparation and updating customers’ profile list.
    • Promptly and effectively resolve customer complaints such as to retain their goodwill and confidence in the product, services and the dealership at large.
    • Actively involved in the Region’s debt collection drive on an on-going basis.
    • Establish and report on competitive activities and sales opportunities (for parts, units & service). Implement actions that will ensure prompt and adequate conversion to Caterpillar products & services.
    • Implement relevant marketing and promotional programmes as they arise.
    • Ensure prudent financial management and adequate maintenance / security of Company assets placed in the incumbent’s care by virtue of function and/or location.
    • Seek out new business opportunities in the Eastern Region (Oil & Gas, Marine, and Electric Power industry) by monitoring on-going contracts and maximizing both onshore/offshore parts sales opportunities.
    • Liaise between MNL, Unatrac and Customers on parts sales issues and special pricing on selected commodity items.

    QUALIFICATION

    • HND/B.Sc. Engineering with 2 years working experience in Technical Sections of MNL or similar company.
    • Interpersonal and communication skills with leadership skills and ability to take the initiative.
    • Have good selling skills
    • Ability to drive.

    Tool Storekeeper

    SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Directly responsible for receipt, documentation, upkeep and issuing of tools and all other materials located in the stores. Also, effect delivery of goods to the customers as and when required.

    MAIN FUNCTIONS

    • Keep adequate records of all items in the material store.
    • Issue appropriate tools to the technicians whenever they are required for use.
    • Receive goods and materials from the supplier in accordance with respective LPO specifications.
    • Issue goods received note to back up the invoice issued by the supplier in confirmation of acceptance of the goods supplied.
    • Take delivery and ensure prompt and proper dispatch of items, units and/or spare parts to customers and/or transfer to other branches.
    • Receive, store and issue spare parts for contract service jobs as required.
    • Take inventory of tools used in the Workshop on a regular basis

    CONTACTS

    • The entire staff and management in service department.
    • Branch Storekeepers, Warehouse and Accounts staff.
    • Suppliers, contractors and third-party security personnel.
    • Customer representatives.

    RELEVANT INFORMATION.

    • WASSCE/C&G or its equivalent with 3 years of relevant experience.
    • Good knowledge of Engineering tools and application is an added advantage.

    ENVIRONMENT

    • Financial Impact:
    • Stock of tools, workshop consumables and WIP parts
    • Hazards:
    • Lifting of heavy objects and movement within workshop environment.
