    People Operations Associate (Talent Management)

    About the Role

    • As SunFi’s Talent Management Associate, you will be responsible for driving SunFi’s strategic efforts towards talent acquisition, talent experience and retention. You will drive the implementation of talent management initiatives across both technical teams (Product Engineering, Product Design,IT Ops etc) and non technical roles as SunFi continues to grow and scale. You will be expected to work closely with hiring managers to identify and implement ways to recruit, engage and retain the best talent, you will also be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring that the organization attracts high-quality candidates across different departments and regions. This includes developing and maintaining a candidate pipeline and overseeing job postings, interviews and offers. The role will involve close collaboration with department leads and hiring managers to define recruitment needs, talent gaps, ensure timely and efficient hiring processes and manage the offer negotiation process.
    • Taking ownership for strategic talent acquisition and retention, you will also develop marketing campaigns to appeal to qualified recruits, these strategies will project the image necessary to attract suitable candidates fit for SunFi’s culture and growth. As the People Operations Associate, you are expected to exemplify SunFi’s core values and deliver a delightful experience for all stakeholders, employees and applicants alike.

    Responsibilities

    Talent Acquisition

    • Developing effective recruitment strategies, including job posting optimization, physical and digital employment marketing, job board procurement, and talent planning
    • Leverage data to define key talent acquisition success metrics, measure productivity, and inform strategic decision-making
    • Develop competitive or specialized intelligence concerning talent development or employee retention
    • Work on continuous harmonization of recruitment and selection processes for global and national talent acquisition, promoting inclusive recruitment.
    • Responsible for the end-to-end recruiting process, from sourcing to offer negotiation for roles assigned
    • Utilize a combination of unique sourcing techniques to identify and attract viable talent such as LinkedIn recruiter, Boolean searches, Employee Referrals, Niche Job Boards etc.
    • Develop proactive talent strategy, employee referral programs and maintain a robust talent pipeline
    • Develop and implement a sustainable talent acquisition and hiring plans and strategies
    • Design, plan and execute employer branding activities
    • Work closely with department heads and hiring managers to ensure HR services meet their needs, as well as managing relationships with external vendors such as recruitment agencies, training firms
    • Optimize strategies by leveraging insights from past recruitment activities, employee turnover and retention rates, diversity and inclusion data
    • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, assess cultural fits and provide feedback to the Hiring Team during the offer process
    • Support implementation of retention strategies
    • Coordinate the effective design and application of tools for job evaluation and grading.
    • Contribute to research on trends in compensation and benefits; promote competitive pay philosophy and benefit programs to ensure the institute attracts and retains top talent.
    • Oversee timely analysis of compensation survey results to measure the competitiveness of the institute’s compensation and benefits package and make recommendations as appropriate while ensuring effective implementation of the annual salary review process. Ensure the development and regular updating of the NRS compensation manual and adaptation at country offices
    • Actively activate partnerships and participate in external branding initiatives such as career fairs and partnerships with educational institutions to enhance visibility as an employer of choice, while working internally to foster an inclusive and inspiring culture.
    • Participate in employee engagement and relations in alignment with SunFi’s values and mission and escalate accordingly as the circumstances arise
    • Develop plans & implement strategic HR-related projects in line with the organizational goals under the direction of the People Operations Manager

    Onboarding and Retention

    • Ensure smooth & seamless onboarding of new employees by working with Hiring Managers to plan, implement and evaluate onboarding processes in line with the organization’s values and standards
    • Working in collaboration with the People Operations Manager and Leadership, you will help develop and promote SunFI’s employer brand, ensuring that we attract top talent by showcasing the company’s values, culture and opportunities.
    • Provide support to the implementation of day-to-day people operations processes efficiently.
    • Actively drive and collaborate with the Managers to implement engagement strategies such as surveys, recognition programs and career development initiatives aimed at increasing job satisfaction and employee retention.
    • You will also work closely with leadership to design retention programs that keep high-performing employees engaged and reduce turnover, ensuring long-term workforce stability.
    • Support the Performance Management Lead in planning and coordinating periodic performance management with the collaboration of Managers, PO Manager & COO as a tool for employee, departmental and organizational development and growth by identifying job openings, overworked employees, and redundant roles.
    • Maintain employee records by ensuring the documentation of employees upon onboarding and updating based on changes as well as registration on all necessary platforms

    Leadership

    • Support efforts to collaborate with the company’s leadership to train SunFi talent when needed.
    • Organize in-house training sessions, identifying external training opportunities and ensuring that hiring managers have the skills for Interviews, talent screening and standard hiring processes.
    • A focus on value creation for the company, not task orientation
    • Responsible for directing and managing and organizing online and in-person engagements and activities related to talent acquisition and retention.
    • Display and exercise business leadership practices within the company and with stakeholders.
    • Build thought leadership within SunFi that enhances the company culture and values
    • Conduct weekly informal check-ins with all team members. These are unstructured scheduled meetings in which your team member and you can discuss areas of your interest, professional or personal. Emphasis should be placed on relationship-building
    • Advocates for the SunFi culture including ensuring team members use video as much as possible during meetings. You must be exemplary

    Reporting

    • Responsible for structuring and communicating key feedback from talents to stakeholders and ensuring quick response rate across board
    • Responsible for talent acquisition and retention reports on a daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis on performance, strategies, OKRs, KPIs, developments, challenges, and other key requirements
    • Responsible for recommending and leveraging the right tools for reports and developing insights

    Attributes & Skills

    Talent Management Skills

    • Strong end-to-end recruitment skills. Ideally, you’ve managed or supported a high-volume recruitment process in some capacity previously for both technical and non technical roles
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee and applicant information.
    • Experience with OKRs and tracking relevant KPIs (e.g. Time to Hire, Quality of Hire etc)
    • A customer-oriented attitude
    • Ability to gauge the potential of new employees, conduct and oversee one-on-one and group interviews, scout untapped talent, and listen to the needs and concerns of fellow staff members.

    • Hands on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check etc)
    • Ability to organize skills assessment centers (in tray activities, work samples, psychometric and IQ/EQ tests, etc)

    Technology Skills:

    • Technical knowledge of all of SunFi’s products & services/ General knowledge of products in the industry
    • Demonstrated experience collaborating with Technology team to drive technical recruitment
    • Proficiency in the use of social platforms and online job boards to scout and recruit new employees.
    • Proficiency in the use of the Human Resources Information System, Applicant Tracking Systems (HRIS/ATS) and Applicant Assessment tools to automate and optimize the hiring process.
    • Proficiency in the use of productivity tools ( etc)

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree/HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
    • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant work experience in a full-cycle recruiting role, preferably in technology and/or financial services
    • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and other recruitment software to streamline the recruitment process
    • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance and ethical recruitment practices
    • Ability to speak and write English language fluently
    • Good usage of Microsoft Office, Google Suite (emphasis on Word, Excel & PowerPoint)

    Associate, Warehouse and Logistics

    About the Role

    • The Warehousing and Logistics Associate will oversee the end-to-end operations of SunFi’s warehousing and logistics activities to ensure seamless product storage, inventory management, and delivery. This includes optimizing warehouse layouts, managing transportation logistics, and maintaining equipment to improve operational efficiency. The role requires ensuring that safety, quality, and compliance standards are met while keeping costs under control. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, logistical expertise, and a deep understanding of warehouse management processes. The role will be office-based with occasional travel to warehouses.

    Responsibilities

    Logistics Operations

    Logistics and Shipment Tracking:

    • Oversee the logistics and transportation of solar components from OEMs to project sites or warehouses.
    • Manage relationships with logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
    • Monitor and address logistics challenges, such as shipment delays, damaged goods, and order discrepancies.
    • Maintain detailed records of shipment schedules and compliance with regulations.
    • Track and report delivery timelines, ensuring adherence to project schedules.

    Warehouse Management

    • Implement inventory management systems to track stock levels, reduce waste, and avoid shortages or overstocking.
    • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.

    • Adjust layouts as necessary to improve workflow, reduce handling time, and optimize space utilization.

    Team Leadership

    • 3+ years of experience in warehousing and logistics management, preferably in the renewable energy or manufacturing sector.
    • Certification in logistics or warehouse operations (e.g., APICS, WERC).
    • Knowledge of warehouse safety and compliance standards (HSE certification preferred).
    • Experience managing small to medium-scale warehouse operations.
