    Operations Engineer (Support / Implementation)

    Job Description

    • To deliver standard business operations services to retain existing customers in relation to Incident resolution, Problem reporting, Event Monitoring, Implementation & Configuration on Applications.

    Responsibilities
    Incident Solution:

    • Shall ensure that all 1st level incidents logged are resolved with a view to meeting set SLA/Customer satisfaction while liaising closely with relevant teams
    • Shall ensure proper cleanup of after effect of incidents with a view to eliminating financial exposure and customer dissatisfaction
    • Shall adequately document known issues and detailed work-around that can be applied in the case of a re-occurs
    • To adequately report problems resulting from incidents with a view to completely resolve root cause Event Monitoring
    • To ensure timely event detection with a view to averting critical incidents or proactively managing the outcome of such events
    • To ensure that incidents are created for all critical events and escalated by all means necessary to guaranty the shorted resolution timeframe

    Implementation / Configuration Management:

    • Set up/ Configure settlement, Dispute and Reconciliation applications/servers as deployed by the technology team
    • Suggest improvement to the process with a view to make operations better
    • Perform user acceptance tests (UAT) for 3rd party integrations
    • Provide support to merchants and 3rd party integrators (eg CWIPs) integrating to our products
    • Maintain high customer satisfaction levels with the projects handled
    • Onboard customers on product/applications for transaction processing, settlement, Dispute and Reconciliation on Interswitch’s platforms and applications

    Requirements

    • BSc or BEng in Computer Science / Business Information Technology
    • Programming or SQL scripting skills added advantage
    • ITIL foundation experience added advantage

    Technical Skills:

    • A Basic understanding of SQL
    • Basic understanding of Electronic funds transfer processing
    • Understanding of Basic Networking/File Transfer protocol
    • An understanding of Basic Linux Command
    • A basic understand the concept of Kubernetes
    • Basic knowledge of programming languages
    • Trace/Data analysis

    Service Operations Executive

    Job Description

    • To carry out accurate and timely delivery of routine operations services with regards to operations of products and services offered on the Inters witch Network.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure delivery of accurate and timely operations service delivery for seamless Pre-processing, Real-time processing, dispute management and post transaction processing activities in regard to the following services:

    Functional Responsibilities:

    • Settlement Computation and Collation
    • Switched transactions settlement
    • Processed transactions billing
    • Services/Network billing
    • Settlement Adjustment
    • Settlement Re presentment
    • Exception Investigation and resolution/escalation
    • Ensure disputes to be settled daily are settled accordingly
    • Identify exceptions to the above, investigation and resolve/escalate

    Dispute Operations:

    • Arbitration
    • Arbitration Billing
    • Pre-arbitration
    • Chargeback processing

    File Processing:

    • Card Scheme clearing file processing
    • (Mastercard, Visa, Discover, Amex, JCB etc)
    • Card file processing
    • Routine Report Delivery:
    • Daily Settlement Reports (Details and Summaries)
    • Daily Card Management Reports (Card balance, statement, Activity reports)
    • Periodic Analytical reports ie Weekly, Monthly or Quarterly(QOC, QMR, CBN Data etc)
    • Ensure delivery of Daily Dispute Reports (Details)
    • Ensure delivery of Arbitration Billing Report are provided to relevant parties as in defined frequency

    Specialized Services:

    • Airtime Stock Balance monitoring and reconciliation reporting
    • Airtime Stock procurement and top up confirmation
    • Agent registration
    • Agency Network Virtual account top up
    • Agent Details update management
    • Mobile Platform Business Reversal Settlement Advice

    Requirements
    Education and Experience: 

    • Academic Qualification(s): BEng / BSc
    • Professional Qualification(s): N/A however relevant experience in EFT and/or Accounting systems principles is an advantage
    • Experience (Number of relevant years): 1 - 2 years
