    Service Manager - Spare Parts

    The Service Manager – Spare Parts is responsible for managing the procurement, storage, and distribution of automotive spare parts, ensuring consistent availability, cost control, and quality compliance. This role builds strong supplier relationships, optimizes inventory levels, and ensures timely parts availability to support repair, maintenance, and CNG conversion activities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Source and procure genuine spare parts for repairs, CNG conversions, and maintenance activities.
    • Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships while negotiating favorable pricing and terms.
    • Implement inventory control systems to minimize stockouts, excess inventory, and holding costs.
    • Monitor spare parts quality and ensure compliance with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) standards.
    • Maintain accurate stock records and generate monthly inventory and procurement reports.
    • Forecast parts demand based on service schedules, usage trends, and seasonal patterns.
    • Coordinate with service teams to ensure timely parts availability for ongoing projects.
    • Oversee warehouse safety, cleanliness, and optimal organization.

    Parts availability rate (%)

    • Reduction in service delays caused by stockouts
    • Inventory turnover ratio

    Key Qualifications & Requirements

    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in spare parts management within the automotive, transport, or logistics sector.
    • Strong knowledge of automotive parts catalogues, sourcing channels, and OEM requirements.
    • Proficiency in inventory management systems and supply chain processes.
    • Proven experience in vendor negotiation and cost optimization.
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

    Service Manager - Repairs & Maintenance

    The Service Manager will oversee and coordinate all repair and maintenance activities, ensuring timely, high-quality service for customers. This role is responsible for leading the technical team, managing work schedules, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to maximize fleet uptime and operational efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan, schedule, and supervise vehicle repair and maintenance activities for company and customer fleets.
    • Ensure adherence to manufacturer specifications, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
    • Monitor workshop productivity, quality control, and cost efficiency.
    • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.
    • Maintain accurate service records and prepare operational performance reports.
    • Train and mentor technicians on diagnostic tools, repair procedures, and new technologies.
    • Liaise with vendors for spare parts procurement and outsourced repairs.
    • Implement customer feedback processes to continuously improve service delivery.

    Key Qualifications & Requirements

    • Excellent vendor negotiation and workshop budgeting skills.
    • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
