    Off-Country Manager / Regional Expansion Manager

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a versatile and culturally aware Regional Marketing & Communications Manager to lead our cross-border marketing and public relations initiatives across Nigeria (Yola, Abuja) and neighboring Francophone markets (Cameroon and either Niger or Chad).
    • The ideal candidate will drive brand visibility, manage regional campaigns, and ensure that messaging is consistent, effective, and culturally tailored across different countries.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design and execute regional marketing and branding strategies across target countries.
    • Manage public relations campaigns, media engagements, and stakeholder communications in both English and French.
    • Adapt and localize advertising content to suit different markets and cultural expectations.
    • Monitor market trends and consumer behavior across Yola, Abuja, Cameroon, and one of Niger/Chad to inform strategy.
    • Build relationships with local influencers, partners, and media outlets across regions.
    • Oversee the production and distribution of multilingual marketing materials.
    • Track the performance of regional campaigns and prepare insightful reports.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (sales, digital, design, etc.) to align campaigns with business objectives.

    Education Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Master’s degree or professional certifications in marketing or PR (e.g., CIM, IABC, PRSA) is a plus.

    Experience Requirements:

    • Minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience in regional or international marketing, branding, or public relations.
    • Demonstrated success in handling multilingual campaigns and brand positioning across multiple African countries.
    • Prior experience working with or in Francophone Africa (especially Cameroon, Niger, or Chad) is required.

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Bilingual fluency in English and French (mandatory); proficiency in a third regional language (e.g., Hausa, Fulfulde, or Arabic) is an advantage.
    • Strong storytelling, writing, and public speaking skills.
    • Solid understanding of digital marketing tools, social media management, and campaign analytics.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity across West and Central Africa.
    • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and make strategic decisions across borders.

    Other Requirements:

    • Must be willing and able to travel frequently to Cameroon, Niger/Chad, and northern Nigeria.
    • Strong cross-cultural communication skills.
    • Ability to work flexible hours and manage multiple time zones.
    • Familiarity with both corporate and field-level communication dynamics.

    Retail Finance Manager

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially driven Retail Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our automotive retail network, including vehicle showrooms, service centers, and spare parts outlets.
    • The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving financial performance, managing budgets, and supporting business decisions through data-driven insights.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts for retail operations (vehicle sales, aftersales services, spare parts).
    • Analyze showroom and service center performance — revenue, gross profit, expenses, and margins.
    • Track key financial metrics such as cost per unit sold, average revenue per vehicle, and parts profitability.
    • Provide financial insights to support pricing strategies, promotions, and dealership expansion.
    • Monitor and report on inventory value, stock movement, and working capital efficiency.
    • Lead monthly financial reporting and variance analysis with recommendations to improve performance.
    • Support audit readiness, tax compliance, and internal controls related to retail transactions.
    • Collaborate with sales, service, and operations teams to align financial goals with business priorities.

    Education & Requirements
    Education Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
    • Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is required.
    • MBA or a postgraduate degree in Finance is an advantage.

    Experience Requirements:

    • Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in finance or accounting.
    • At least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably within automobile retail, FMCG, or multi-branch retail environments.
    • Experience managing financials for vehicle sales, service departments, or parts distribution is highly preferred.

    Other Requirements:

    • High integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage multiple retail outlets and travel when required.
    • Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment.
    • Familiarity with dealership financial operations or DMS software is a plus.

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong understanding of retail finance in an automotive or similar sales-driven environment.
    • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (SAP, Sage, or dealership management systems).
    • Excellent data analysis and presentation skills.
    • Business acumen and ability to interpret complex financial data into actionable strategies.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with showroom managers, service teams, and vendors.
