    Multimedia Production Lead

    Role Overview:

    • This role goes beyond filming. We’re looking for someone who can own the full multimedia production lifecycle, from setting up and running a studio environment, to managing production and post-production workflows, to delivering polished, high-impact content across platforms.
    • Your storytelling skills, technical expertise, and creative judgment will play a crucial role in elevating our marketing initiatives and strengthening our brand presence.
    • Own end-to-end video production for BetKing’s social platforms and BetKing TV.
    • Drive high-quality, high-frequency video output that increases engagement, reach, watch time, and brand perception while reducing reliance on external production vendors.
    • Establish and operate the internal studio as a scalable content engine.

    What you will be doing:

    Studio Production & Management

    • Operate and manage BetKing’s internal studio environment.
    • Shoot all in-house video & photo content: interviews, campaign content, product explainers, promos, influencer content, and reactive formats.
    • Handle lighting, camera setup, sound, framing, and overall production quality control.
    • Maintain studio equipment and ensure readiness for rapid-turnaround shoots.
    • Develop and document production workflows and studio SOPs.

    Video Editing

    • Produce long-form YouTube content for BetKing TV including shows, match previews, recap formats, and branded series.
    • Edit high-volume short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube Shorts.
    • Optimise edits for retention: pacing, hooks, cut patterns, subtitles, sound design.
    • Adapt content across aspect ratios and platform specifications.
    • Deliver fast-turnaround edits during live events and key sports moments.

    Motion Graphics & Visual Design

    • Design animated intros, transitions, and branded overlays.
    • Create dynamic odds visualisations and product explainers using motion graphics.
    • Develop reusable templates for recurring formats.
    • Ensure brand consistency across all video assets.
    • Collaborate with design team to translate BetKing TV shows KV into animated assets.

    Content Performance Alignment

    • Work closely with Social Media manager & Influencer partners to align production with performance insights.
    • Refine formats based on watch-time, retention curves, CTR, and engagement data.
    • A/B test hooks, thumbnails, pacing styles, and visual treatments.
    • Contribute ideas for new scalable video formats.

    Key Deliverables

    • Weekly volume of short-form and long-form content aligned with content calendar.
    • Broadcast-quality BetKing TV output.
    • Motion graphics package for recurring BetKing TV formats.
    • Report on Channel engagement, watch time, and retention metrics across platforms.

    Requirements

    What you need for this role:

    • 4–7 years’ experience in Photography, video production, editing, and motion graphics.
    • Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop.
    • Experience operating cameras, lighting rigs, and audio equipment.
    • Strong understanding of short-form algorithmic content dynamics.
    • Demonstrated portfolio of high-performing digital video work.
    • Ability to work under tight sports-driven timelines.
    • Understanding of sports, betting, entertainment, or pop culture content production preferred.

    Trade Marketing Specialist - Agency

    Role Overview:

    • At KingMakers, we are redefining the future of sports and iGaming entertainment in Africa. As a key player in our team, the Trade Marketing Specialist - Agency will be instrumental in driving our brand presence and ensuring effective execution of our marketing strategies at the retail level.
    • We are looking for a passionate and results-driven marketing professional to collaborate with our agency partners and enhance our brand visibility across various touchpoints. If you have a flair for trade marketing, a strategic mindset, and the ability to build relationships, we want you on our team!

    What You Will Be Doing:

    Agency Trade Marketing Execution

    • Coordinate and execute Agency marketing initiatives across regions, ensuring alignment with overall brand and business objectives.
    • Drive agency branding initiatives including shop signage, and in-shop brand visibility materials.
    • Plan and execute on-ground marketing activities such as shop activations, roadshows, and localized promotions.
    • Support community outreach initiatives in collaboration with Regional Teams, Grandmasters, and Master Agents to deepen grassroots engagement.

    Product GTM Coordination & Execution

    • Support the planning and execution of product go-to-market (GTM) launches across the Agency channel.
    • Work closely with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Regional Teams to translate GTM plans into clear, field-ready execution.
    • Coordinate agent-facing communications, training materials, and in-shop assets for new product launches and feature rollouts.
    • Ensure timely deployment of GTM materials and activations to drive awareness, understanding, and adoption at the shop level.
    • Collect field feedback on product performance and adoption and share insights with Product and Marketing teams.

    Campaign Coordination & Field Support

    • Work closely with Regional Teams to roll out national and regional trade marketing campaigns effectively.
    • Ensure timely distribution and proper use of marketing materials across agency locations.
    • Monitor campaign execution quality in the field and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
    • Support new shop openings, relaunches, and special events with tailored marketing activations.

    Creative & Design Support

    • Design trade marketing materials such as posters, flyers, banners, activation creatives, and basic digital assets.
    • Use tools such as Canva to develop visually appealing, on-brand materials for Agency use.
    • Adapt centrally developed marketing assets for local and regional execution where required.

    Performance Tracking & Reporting

    • Track and report on the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives and activations.
    • Gather field insights and feedback from agents, Regional Teams, and partners to inform future campaigns.
    • Maintain records of marketing materials, activations, and regional deployments.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Collaborate with the central Marketing team to ensure brand consistency and campaign alignment.
    • Work closely with Operations and Regional Teams to ensure marketing initiatives support commercial objectives such as stakes growth and agent retention.
    • Support ad-hoc marketing initiatives as required by the Agency leadership team.

    Requirements

    What you need for this role:

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
    • 2-4 years of experience in trade marketing or brand management, preferably with agency experience
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market data and trends
    • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously
    • Proficiency in using marketing analytics tools and experience with survey and market research
    • Creative mindset with a keen eye for successful promotional material
    • A collaborative spirit and strong communication skills to liaise effectively with agency teams and internal stakeholders
    • Passion for sports and the gaming industry is a plus

    Technical Requirements

    • Design Skills: Proficiency in design tools ability to create clean, effective trade marketing and communication materials.
    • Strong understanding of on-ground marketing and retail activation execution.
    • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and GTM initiatives across regions
    • Basic reporting and data interpretation skills to assess campaign performance.
