    Medical Laboratory Technician

    Job Description

    • Collecting, examining, and analysing patient specimens
    • Carrying out microscopic examination of specimens for pathogens.
    • Preparing buffer solutions, fluids, and stains.
    • Identifying malaria parasites, trypanosomes, spirochetes, and other protozoa
    • Ensuring that laboratory equipment, tubes, and glassware are properly sterilised and maintained in good condition.
    • Organise and store all chemicals, substances, fluids, and compressed gases according to safety instructions.
    • Monitoring and recording temperature using temperature Charts
    • Registering samples and typing results on the EMR
    • Ensure that all safety guidelines are always followed strictly and maintain a clean and orderly environment.
    • Reports incidents, including instrument failures, problems and solutions.
    • Represents the organisation by applying the principles of customer care in the medical pathology field and interacting professionally
    • Performing tests in Medical Microbiology, Histopathology, Haematology, Chemical Pathology, Parasitology and Blood Transfusion.
    • Preparing stains, reagents and simple media for cultivation of bacteria to perform cross-matching; compatibility tests of blood for blood transfusion and simple serological tests.

    Pharmacy Technician

    Job Description

    • Dispensing of drugs in accordance to doctor’s prescription
    • Preparing, dispensing, distributing, and administering medications according to Doctor’s prescription
    • Counsel the patient and advise on adherence to usage as prescribed to avoid resistance and explain to them the possible side effects of each drug.
    • Taking stock daily to determine the stock level of drugs.
    • Recording of drug items supplied to out-patients (HMO, Company patients) and in-patients.
    • Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level, ensuring the First-in-First-Out (FIFO) system is strictly adhered to, and anticipating needed medications.
    • Maintains a clean and safe pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
    • Strict adherence to the usage of EMR.
    • Ensure all medications are kept at the right temperature.
    • Weekly submission of sales report.

    Requirements

    • National Diploma in Pharmacy Technology.
    • 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced organization.

    Registered Nurse / Midwife

    Job Description

    • Administering medications, assisting with medical procedures, maintaining accurate medical records, and offering education and emotional support to patients and their families.
    • Generate detailed reports and maintain precise records for patients.
    • Monitor and document symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions, promptly notifying physicians of any developments.
    • Carefully observe and record patient medical information and vital signs.
    • Document patients’ medical histories and assessment findings accurately.
    • Record patients’ treatment plans, interventions, outcomes, and revisions.
    • Adjust patient treatment plans based on individual responses and changing conditions.
    • Oversee all aspects of patient care, including dietary considerations and physical activity.
    • Perform wound care and assist physicians during procedures.
    • Ensure proper storage of equipment or devices after use.
    • Collaborate effectively with other critical care team members.
    • Respond to life-saving situations following nursing standards and treatment protocols.
    • Responsible for the care of pre-and post-operative patients requiring attention.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 2 years work experience.
    • A member of Registered Nurse (RN) & Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
