Key Responsibilities

• Machine Maintenance: Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on extrusion, printing, lamination, and converting equipment.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic malfunctions quickly during active production shifts.
• Parts Replacement: Swap out worn or broken components like bearings, seals, gears, rollers, and belts.
• Calibration & Adjustment: Adjust machine settings to optimize tension control, sealing temperatures, and cutting accuracy.
• Documentation: Log all repair activities, equipment performance metrics, and parts usage in maintenance logs or CMMS software.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow factory safety rules, use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and keep the work area clean.

Job Requirements & Skills

• Education: Trade Test Certificate, OND, HND, or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience, preferably within a flexible packaging or high-speed manufacturing plant.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, power transmission, and mechanical assembly.
