    Loan Officer (Ilorin)

    Role Description

    • This is a full-time Loan Officer role located on-site at Alert Group's Lagos office.
    • The Loan Officer will be responsible for daily tasks such as evaluating, authorizing, or recommending loan applications, conducting loan origination, and managing customer relationships.
    • Additional responsibilities include assessing the financial status of applicants, processing and underwriting loans, and maintaining excellent customer service while helping clients achieve their financial goals.

    Qualifications

    • Proficiency in Loan Origination and practical experience as a Loan Officer
    • Strong background in Finance and Underwriting procedures
    • Ability to deliver exceptional Customer Service and manage client relationships
    • Keen attention to detail with the ability to assess creditworthiness and financial history
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
    • Excellent communication and decision-making skills
    • Familiarity with financial regulations and lending practices

    Team Lead, IT Infrastructure

    Role Overview

    • The Team Lead, IT Infrastructure will lead and supervise the Infrastructure and DevOps unit, ensuring high availability, security, performance, and compliance across onprem, hybrid, and cloud environments.
    • This role plays a critical part in DevOps adoption, automation, system reliability, and regulatory compliance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead, mentor, and supervise the IT Infrastructure team (DevOps/Cloud & System/Network Engineers)
    • Design, deploy, and manage onprem, hybrid, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP)
    • Drive DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
    • Administer and secure servers, networks, virtualization (VMware/HyperV), Active Directory & IAM
    • Manage Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) workloads
    • Ensure 99.9%+ uptime, monitoring, incident management, and disaster recovery.
    • Enforce security, compliance, and risk controls (CBN, NDIC, ISO 27001)
    • Lead infrastructure projects, vendor management, and cost optimization

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
    • 6+ years in IT Infrastructure, with 1+ year in a supervisory role
    • Strong experience in FinTech, Banking, Microfinance, or regulated environments
    • Handson expertise in:
    • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
    • Docker, Kubernetes
    • CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
    • IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
    • Solid knowledge of Linux administration, networking, load balancing, DNS, firewalls, and virtualization.

    • Handson expertise in Microservices, REST APIs, React, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, Postgres
    • Proven ability to scale highvolume, realtime transaction systems.
