QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENT

• Candidates should possess HND/B.Sc Degree in Civil Engineer with 5 – 6years relevant work experience.
• A Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or an associated field is an additional advantage
• License as a Professional Engineer (PE) is often required.
• Must have hands on experience in finishing buildings and construction 
• Knowledge and proficiency in industry-specific software, like AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other computer-aided design software.
• Strong skills in math, science, and engineering principles.
• Good communication and team collaboration skills are essential for effectively managing diverse teams and working with clients and other professionals.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and components to ensure safe, reliable operation, reading blueprints, adhering to codes , and performing preventive checks to keep facilities running efficiently

Responsibility:

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repairs on power control, lighting systems, panels, and other electrical components in buildings and structures.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems, interpreting technical diagrams and drawings accurately.
• Conduct tests on electrical systems to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Install safety and distribution components like switches, resistors, and circuit-breaker panels.
• Maintain and repair kitchen and laundry equipment, including checking and replacing faulty parts.
• Inspect and maintain smoke detectors, fire alarm systems, and associated equipment for optimal performance.
• Clean and maintain various pumps and fan motors, including sewage pumps, booster pumps, and extractor fans.
• Conduct regular inspections, testing, and repairs on lights, emergency lights, and smoke management systems in parking areas, staircases, and technical rooms.
• Communication, honesty, responsibility, collaboration and awareness is key in any task.

Relevant work experience/Qualification

• Hold at least an OND/HND qualification or equivalent Trade Test certification in Electrical.
• Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrician with a focus on maintenance.
• Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy electrical equipment and work long hours on installation sites.
• Strong manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination for precise electrical work.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems independently.
• Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols in all electrical tasks.

Job Summary

 The ideal candidate will be responsible for installations, maintenance, and repair of aluminum fixtures, focusing on building facades, windows, and doors, by fabricating frames, cutting materials, fitting glass, and ensuring compliance with design/safety standards using hand/power tools, often working from blueprints. 

Responsibility:

• Technician must possess adequate skill to execute aluminium fixtures and maintenance.
• Must be able to analyze and execute task according to regulated standards
• Must be polyvalent to execute other civil tasks asides aluminium fixtures and maintenance works. E.g. – Façade Cleaning, etc..
• Must be able to handle portable and dedicated power tools and equipment’s
• Must be able to perform aluminium works, iron monger works, furniture, etc.

Relevant work experience/Qualification

• Minimum of Trade Test or OND in Electrical or its Equivalent
• Applicant must have proven track record on the job.
• 3-5 years experience in Aluminium works especially in Cladding Facade.
• Basic understanding, knowledge and experience in HSE procedures is a pre-requisite
• The Applicant is expected to be familiar with aluminium works, use of alucoboard, iron monger works, furniture works and Janitorial services.
