    Training Facilitator – Policy Communication Mastery

    The Training Facilitator will be responsible for designing and delivering high-impact training sessions focused on effective policy communication for public sector leaders, development professionals, and executives. The role requires a strong blend of theory, practice, and real-world case application.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Delivering facilitator-led sessions on policy communication strategies, stakeholder engagement, and public messaging
    • Simplifying complex policy issues into clear, compelling narratives
    • Training participants on media engagement, strategic messaging, and advocacy communication
    • Facilitating interactive sessions, case studies, simulations, and group discussions
    • Supporting curriculum development and continuous improvement of training materials
    • Assessing participant learning outcomes and providing professional feedback

    Requirements

    • Advanced degree in Communications, Public Policy, Political Science, Media Studies, Journalism, International Relations, or a related field
    • Minimum of 7 years’ professional experience in policy communication, public affairs, strategic communications, media relations, or advocacy
    • Proven experience facilitating executive or professional training programmes
    • Strong understanding of government communication processes and stakeholder management
    • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and instructional skills
    • Experience working with public sector institutions, development partners, or NGOs is an advantage

    • Demonstrable hands-on experience with cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and production software
    • Proficiency in editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
    • Proven experience facilitating professional or executive training programmes
    • Strong instructional, communication, and facilitation skills
    • Experience working with studios, production houses, or digital platforms is an advantage
