    Marketers/Sales Representative (Diesel Generator Experience)

    Our client, a leading diesel Generator Company in Africa is looking for marketer/field sales representative, you will be responsible for marketing and sales of a of well-known diesel generators ranging from 15KVA to 1MW. We are ideally looking for candidates who have good experience in marketing and sales of range of diesel generator.

    Job responsibilities:

    • Key responsibility is to meet sales revenue targets and expand dealer base across the assigned regions and customer segments
    • Manage sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales and identify new business opportunities.
    • Develop and nurture the sales distribution network; Identify, recruit and on-board new channel partners
    • Develop positive working relationship with partners to build business. Work with channel partners to help them exceed revenue expectations of the company month on month basis
    • Regular partner visits and keep them engaged with promotional and branding offers.
    • Stay current with latest developments in marketplace and competitor activities.
    • Evaluate partner sales performance and recommend improvements.
    • Educate partners about product portfolio and complimentary services offered, and keep them up-to-date with information about schemes and targets.
    • Address partner related issues, sales conflicts and pricing issues in a timely manner, in consultation with his Manager.
    • Plan partner marketing activities such as tradeshows, campaigns and other promotional activities.

    Skills & Experience required

    • ND/HND/BSC in any field
    • Previous working experience of handling sales in Diesel Power Generators for at least 5-7 year(s)
    • Must have experience in both Channel management as well as Account Management
    • Geographical Knowledge
    • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
    • Self-driven, decisive and dogged
    • Customer oriented with strong negotiation skills

    Senior Regional Sales Manager

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for managing the primary sales team
    • Developing a business plan covering sales,
    • Responsible for Revenue, payment collection and expense controls,
    • Meeting agreed targets and promoting organization's presence throughout the region.
    • Responsible for obtaining profitable results through the sales team by developing the team through motivation, counseling, skills development and product knowledge development.

    • Personally observe the performance of each member of the sales team in the field on a regular basis as also have in depth knowledge of competitors and their activities.

    REQUIREMENT AND SKILLS

    • Must have BSC/HND in Social sciences or related courses
    • At least 5-10 years of experience in a FMCG
    • Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Exceptional managerial skills and the ability to lead a team.
    • Proficiency in information management systems and knowledge.
