    Business Development Manager - Oil & Gas

    Job Description

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business performance by delivering business development excellence through understanding of the customer needs, offering them with professional and innovative waste management solutions. He/she is responsible for understanding the regulation framework, registering the organization with IOCs and NOCs, setting up a survey of the renewable energy market, vendor selection and management.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Achieve and exceed period targets in accordance with all company procedures and code of business conduct
    • Maximize revenue through increased sales activities for new and existing clients
    • Identify sales opportunities and potential customers
    • Responsible for self-generating and qualifying leads from a variety of sources as well as appointments with potential customers and stakeholders
    • Pipeline management: Build sales pipeline, develop and implement sales activity plans across the period and year.
    • Conduct professional meetings, comprehensively questioning and listening to fully understand customer requirements
    • Develop and deliver presentation to customers and other stakeholders

    Qualifications

    • First degree in a relevant course
    • 5 years experience in Business Development and Sales
    • Proven Business and sales development experience in the Oil and Gas service industry
    • Masters degree is an added advantage
    • Oil and Gas and/or Waste Management Background
    • Very good understanding of oil and gas market and associated legal framework developments
    • Ability to develop business cases
    • Strong appreciation of commercial developments in waste collection & transport, treatment, recovery and disposal technologies
    • Organization Development skills

    • Excellent communication and influential skills
    • Strong leadership skills

    Internal Control Lead - Calabar

    Job Description

    The internal control lead is responsible for carrying out independent appraisal of the effectiveness of the policies, procedures and standards of the organization operations.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Supporting the Internal Audit management in their planning and preparation 
    • Ensure key internal controls are defined, implemented, documented, assessed and monitored in front of material risks;
    • Contributes to the design and recommendation of new policies and procedures to strengthen existing controls
    • Performing audit and verification procedures, and maintaining internal control and audit Working Papers and document repository.
    • Preparing and contributing to the group and audit committee report on policies, programs and activities of the business for presentation.
    • Monitor management’s responses and implementation of internal control requirements.
    • Supporting Internal audit management during the reporting phase.
    • Report on the value for money that the company obtains in all its activities with special regards to economy, efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Perform reviews on task requested by management.
    • Provide opinion on the internal controls within the geographical area of operation.
    • Perform special investigation of cases in a professional manner when called upon.
    • Perform routine control testing of all business processes

    Qualifications

    • First degree in relevant course
    • Minimum of 2 years of relevant job experience, preferably in an internal audit function of multinational or Big ‘4’
    • Membership of ICAN, ACCA or other relevant professional body
    • Membership of Internal Control Institute
    • ISACA’s CRISC certification 
    • Fair knowledge of process review & documentation
    • Knowledge of computerized accounting and auditing record keeping systems
    • An ability to gather, analyze and evaluate facts and to prepare and present concise oral and written reports
    • Experience in use of SAP is an advantage
